It's a custom BB Code that just replaces HTML. So for example, in our span CSS code:
[css-span=color: pink]text[/css-span]

is equivalent to

<span style="color: pink">text</span>

I'm not sure how tags are implemented off vBulletin but in vB this is <span style="{option}">{param}</span>.

I don't agree with that, actually. I think the show was much better after L was gone, I loved Mello and Near. So I don't really mind. I thought that Death Note was extremely boring so. I read the manga and watched a few episodes (my sister is this HUGE obsessive L fan lol.) But Mello was the one I thought was awesome, but his death was ********. They couldn't come up with something better than that?

I'm guessing Mystogan either acquired magical abilities while on Earthland, or it really is just the staves that help him. That part I'm not entirely sure about, tbh ^^; ...Though, unless the staves were really powerful I would guess it would have to be his own magical abilities because it is not easy to get S-rank in Fairy Tail at the very least.

As for who can use the staves, if you read the latest arc Jellal Fernandes is actually pretty decent with them (he's pretending to be Mystogan for the sake of Fairy Tail); he only lost due to...other complications, fff.
