Oh, yeah, this game pays out a lot when you complete missions. In fact, that's the best way to make money for your guild. Alternatively, you can sell items you collect when monsters drop them or ones you get from material points (which exist in every maze in the game). EO also has a crafting system, where if you bring certain materials to the shop/atelier, new items become available. I'm a little surprised how much they actually can make, but most of it is stuff the game doesn't even hint at, so it's easy to overlook stuff when you're trying to upgrade weaponry/armor. The only downside is that EO4 and EO Untold make it so that a lot of items are disposable, meaning you have to keep getting more materials for them instead of just being able to buy more.

Well, not just that, but all RPGs used to also have a lot of side-bosses that were worth fighting. This is why I've taken to EO so well. It actually makes it so that you want to go out of your way to do everything in the game, and you actually get good rewards for completing the task. For instance, the first "superboss" that appears in EO Untold is a monster known as the Golem. Like the one in Jewish folklore, this one goes berserk with its attacks when you enter battle and has ridiculously high resistance to physical attacks. Magic/alchemical attacks don't do heavy damage either, making it that much harder to beat. Additionally, it has this defensive mechanism that allows it to endure on fatal attack and then suddenly recover almost half its health, as well as another regenerative move that it activates when it gets down to quarter health (it only lasts three turns, but it's annoying when you can't already hammer it).

    Hurrah, advertising!

Btw, what do you think of this idea for a article? Asking because you're into the battling scene in a different sense than me (and also I know much less about battling outside of VGC anyway). http://bbs.studio-revolution.net/sho...19008#pid19008

    AHAHAHAHA! YOU'LL LOVE HER!!!

If EO Untold is any reference, EO4 should have a substantial amount of postgame content on top of all the pre-ending content it already had (which is A LOT). I looked up some before when I was trying to get a few hints on how to complete some side-quests that weren't so obvious. Apparently a big thing for EO in general is the inclusion of these things called 'superbosses.' I mean, a lot of the older RPGs used to do a lot of things like that, where you had to go out of your way to find these things if you wanted to get a 100% complete on it. I have run into a few of the superbosses in EO Untold and they were brutal. The ones I fought were ones that actually appeared were snuck in before I beat the game. It's actually something I've come to enjoy because most modern RPGs are straightforward without any serious traps anymore, even the so-called good ones... .-.

About Me

  • About Nolafus
    Biography
I first started playing Pokemon in the 10th grade. Growing up my parents didn't want me to be engulfed by the Pokemon franchise and spend all my money. My first Pokemon game was Black, so don't be mad if I switch up generations as that seems to be a weakness of mine.

As far as non-pokemon stuff goes, I do enjoy writing. As in, I really enjoy it. I think it would be awesome to become a professional writer one day, but I'm not basing my future off of it. It's more of a thing that if it happens, it would be amazing. I'm always willing to lend a hand to people wanting to learn the writing craft, so if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask away!

I've been modding FF&W ever since November 8th, 2013, and I really enjoy it. I get to help people develop their skills and be in a community with fellow writers. What's better than that?
    Interests
I also like roller coasters and I play the trumpet, french horn, mellophone (a french horn for marching band), and flugel. I'm working on my writing skills. I hope to publish a book someday.

No longer will you have to continuously visit your blog over and over again, hoping someone has come by and helped you with your essay. Now, you can do the exact same thing, but with a thread in FF&W! Thanks to the new [Nonfiction] prefix, your essays, opinion papers, and creative nonfiction now have their own happy, little home surrounded by other literature pieces where they belong. So, next time you have an essay for school, or just wrote an essay for fun (hey, I can't be the only one who...

Alright, so many of you have noticed that I have started a sign-up for a creative writing class. For those of you that haven't noticed, then read on!

Since I think school does a terrible job of teaching creative writing and several people have expressed their interest in it, I'm going to be attempting to teach a creative writing right here on PC. I certainly don't know everything about writing, so this is just going to be an introductory course. Everything you need to know about this...

Hello everyone!

Some of you know that I have been off at a writing conference for the past few days. I'm heading back tomorrow, but insomnia strikes tonight, so I may as well write about it now. I'm just going to tell you about what I learned about not just writing, but about the writers themselves.

The more and more panels I went to, the more and more I learned something. Now, these panels were about a huge variety of topics ranging from asking how many readers is...

Before I start, I would just like to say that I don't actually want to be a garbage man when I grow up. Before you ask me why I chose the title, let me ask you a question first. Why did you click on this blog? What prompted you to read this entry while you could be doing a thousand different things? There are several answers to this simple question. Some of you clicked on this simply because I'm your friend and friends are more likely to read friend's stuff. However, I hope there's another reason...

Well, the title says it all. It's a question I've been pondering recently and I think I just might have the solution. But before we get to that, let's meet our fighters.

Chuck Norris:
Chuck Norris is perhaps the toughest human being to ever walk the face of the Earth. Countless stories and contests have been made spreading news of his, previously to be thought, impossible deeds. From choosing one lucky kid to be thrown to the sun a year, and selling pajamas with his face on it...
