you can link to a hosting site, that's how (imageshack.com is the one I use). Then you get the direct link and wrap IMG tags around it (the yellow button with the mountain). If you upload them directly like you're doing, 5 seems to be the limit.

You can also use the IMG tags to post sprites as well.
