  • You like Sonic, Code Geass, PS3 (Borderlands, Uncharted, LBP, FFXIII, etc) too? Where have you been all this time?
    'sup.
LOL. What about you? I'm checking back sometimes to look for new GBA hacks to play. :)
I find all mine on DeviantArt, according my research to what kind of brushes I'm looking for. c:
    DeviantArt - Brushes research
Once I've found what I'm looking for, I download it. Then, with my software and the tool pen, I do as if I wanted to change the form, and on the right I click on a small arrow then on "Loading Forms" (something like this), finally don't forget where you registered brushes to load them into your software. c:
Wuw, you made real progress. I like it.
This is simple, and nice. But maybe the borders of the text are a little too thick ? Sometimes, it's better when it's thin.
You can also had some glow around the character.

About brushes, I told you about them, 'cause they are really useful, if you want to make a framework for example. I can show you a stuff I made a long time ago : Here
Put the brushes on the pic' itself, and then, with the eraser, erase the parts (of the pic' of course) that are exceeding.

    Sorry for my late answer.
Did you try to make them as I told you ? With the "Outer glow" and the "Inner glow" ?
Though, there are aslo brushes. You can download them on Deviantart : Click
Just write the keywords like : Gothic Brushes (just for example uh).
We use them with the Pen tool, and you can also use them as you want. But, for more precision, I advise you to write "Border Brushes" on Deviantart if it's what you're looking for.
    I use Photoshop CS2.
I think they are pretty similar, so it won't be a real problem to help.
So, you want to know a little more about the text effects and the border effects as well, don't you ?
First, choose the police you wanna use and write the text (it doesn't matter where you write, you can move it as you want). (You can also write your text first, select it, and change the police, it will be the same result.) Perhaps you want more polices ? You can download some there : Click :D
Then, at the right of the software, click on the "Styles" section, and choose the one you want to apply to your text. You can also click on "Layer" (above your work plan) and play with the "Bevel and Emboss" section. (Just in the case where you'd like to add some relief to the text if there isn't any yet with the style you chose before.)
Next, the borders : Same here, click on "Layer" and use "Outer glow" or "Inner glow" according to what you want.
Well, I think you'll be able to do the rest by yourself. You just have to be curious. ;]
You can set a lot of things according to your wishes, and don't hesitate to test everything !

Hope I helped you. If you have any questions, or if you need more help, you can ask meh.

~Sorry if I hadn't been a great help, I'm French, so my software use this language as well. I tried to be the most clear possible.
You're welcome. I'd be glad to help you improving your skills.
But first, I need to know what software you usually use to make your creations.
I think it will be easier.
    Hi.
