  • Ohh I know that feel. I have to have my mum fill out most of my forms because I'm like 'I don't even know help me before I get frustrated and cry'
    I'm so forgetful that I forgot there was another way for me to add ;x; /fail
    yaay ~

    Btw, your signature is so cute! ;;
    Hopefully haha.

    Yeah. They've both been kind of considering for a few years because things are just getting worse for teachers etc. But I don't actually think they're ready to move on. :x
    Yeah. Although I worry because that's a stressful job and she already has issues with stress and chronic migraines and things.
    They totally are. My teachers were very open with that kind of stuff haha and so are my parents. Also just comparing people- MN teachers seem generally happier than WI teachers. More cheerful, sociable, etc. My dad's one of the exceptions to the WI teachers though, he does love teaching. There's a reason he's stuck with it thus far. I do think he'll be sad to quit. :/
    True. But they've got nice degrees, experience and are in a state that has not too bad unemployment. Ofc they're not leaving till they've got another job lined up too but yeah. Dad wants to be an actuary [for some reason] and stepmum wants to work with special needs kids- again, for some reason. You'd think three at home would be enough. Anyway yeah they're... trying. I think they should just move to Minnesota where teachers are generally treated much better.
    I know. It's like the most helpful people in the world are medical professionals and teachers. One category is paid way high, the other's average salary just keeps falling. Honestly it's got so bad that my parental units- who have both been teaching for about 20 years- are trying to get out of it.
    Well also they're in Wisconsin and ****'s going down over there so :x
    Yeah it's kind of.. when you gotta do it you totally can.

    Awuh that's terrible. :< Hopefully it's not too bad though?
    My bro and I live with mum but they had an agreement where dad only had to pay for one kid because teacher salary etc. So mum's getting the same amount of money for two years after I turned 18 and by the time she stops getting money we'll both be out. So it works I guess. But my dad and stepmum are both on teacher salary with three full-time special needs kids and two part-time teenagers so they have difficulties sometimes specially with how teachers are treated like ****.
    Haha it's actually not too bad getting back into that groove. I had been sleeping like 4am-1pm but then I went from that to getting up at 7:30 to babysit and it didn't go so bad. I just like... knocked myself out at a reasonable tine with cough meds the first few nights. /terrible

    Yeah. My nieces and nephews shouldn't have to struggle this much. I mean I know they're all going to be middle class and there's a high probability that they'll be children of divorce. And that's the worst area. Kids with that background qualify for nothing but the parents can't really properly afford a lot. /child of specified background
    Just gotta learn to get up early again?

    Hopefully. I feel like the way we're doing things is all wrong and actually hindering any sort of progress in things. :< America just needs to fall apart and re-coalesce into something better. It's headed that way anyway, looks like. Like a new Dark Ages-ish type thing. Reversion to regional control etc. The Dark Ages weren't really that dark anyhow, it'd probably be fine.
    Not bad, not bad. Will/do you work pretty often or...?

    Thank you :3 Yeah it should be fine, I just have to muddle through paperwork and needless processes and things that really should be much, much simpler. Just to get into college and pay for it so I can get a skill so I can earn and spend money which will stimulate the economy and really be better for everyone. OUR SYSTEMS SUCK LUCIA ;___;
    Ooh fun. :D What kind of work are you doing?

    Um not got much going on... I have to solve the problem of getting into college at some point this summer, as well as get my driver's license and things. And get some money so I can move into an apartment with some people in the fall. ADULT THINGS basically which I rather dislike. xD;
