Ugh, yeah I will never, ever work in a daycare again. I've already had 2 horrible experiences at two different ones. I'd rather work in a preschool or a primary school setting!

And nope, they did not charge me to fix up my hair. Luckily, that is their policy! :] I'm a cheapie, so I just get my hair done at a walk-in place and it only costs $20 to get it washed, cut, and styled. And majority of the stylists there do a decent job! So hey, it all works out! And I never seem to have an issue with bed head. I don't know. I don't ever have to comb my hair. It's odd. It doesn't get tangled or anything, which I am grateful for.

Ahh, the orientation. This orientation made me realize I have to get off my lazy ass and get to work! Tomorrow morning I need to call the director of the preschool I'll be at and get a hold of my cooperating teacher. It's time for me to put on my big girl pants and get the job done! I also learned that I need to make a teacher work sample and a family engagement plan. [This practicum goes on for 8 weeks starting in the beginning of September]. I love preschool anyways, so I'm feeling nervous, yet good. It's driving me to do well. ^_^
I also took a look at my textbooks I'll need this semester! I like to get them as cheap as possible, yup.

So whatcha up to? Any fun plans for the weekend? I have to babysit my 6 year old cousin tomorrow evening again. [The one who is almost as tall as me....] ;p

Yeah, Collie is Canadian! I really haven't seen him play much, but my brother says he's pretty good [he is a humongous Colts fan]. I actually have not heard those tennis players before X_x Lol.
But yes my brother does wrestling, and he enjoys that as well. MMA and kickboxing? Sounds awesome actually! :] Do you do that in your free time?
Also, my sister was pretty good at soccer. It's been forever since she played though. X_x Yeah the soccer coach for the high school team is a *****, and as far as I knew no one really cared for her [she was a math teacher at the middle school].

Aww, I'm happy to hear you had a decent time working in Dubai! I had horrible experiences working at daycares [did I tell you already?] The first one was filled with *****y skanks working there, and I had to be with a group of 2 year olds [it was hard]. The 2nd place I worked at, a lot of girls ignored me, and the director was mean too. I called in "sick" one day, because I had a **** load of things to do for school, so I needed the day off. She fired me...and I heard her and another employee talk smack about me over the phone [she thought she hung up the phone]. Yeah it was freakin' lame. But I'm glad I don't have to worry about working there again this school year [it's a daycare at my school's campus]. Have you had any horrible [or really good] job experiences elsewhere?

Yeah I was upset with LeBron James for not picking the Bulls! ;p But my favorite athletes? I do really like Michael Jordan and Scotty Pippen, but they don't play anymore. Currently, I really like Austin Collie, who is a wide receiver on the Colts; and I really like Peyton Manning too. :] Is LeBron your only favorite or do you have others?
As far as baseball goes, I still have yet to find my favorite player on the Cubbies! x] My best friend always like Aramis Ramirez until he was traded this season.
Yeah my brother [Cody] plays football and he loves it. Yes, there is a **** ton of training during the summer, yet he enjoys it. When he's not doing football, he does wrestling in the winter, and discus in the spring. Heh, he's a big kid. He's taller and bigger than I am. x]
My sister used to play soccer when she was little, but when she got to high school, she didn't make the team because my mom wasn't a kiss ass to the coach...so that was really effing lame.

Damn! You really did a lot to yourself as a kid! Awww, I bet none of that was fun at all. :(
As far as basketball went, when I was in 6th grade, my best friend and I went to this basketball camp thing that was for 6-8th graders, and we were the only 6th graders there. All the girls were not very nice, and even the coaches excluded us. It was lame as hell.

OOooh you used to be a Chicago Bulls fan? I like the Bulls, but not as much as I did when Michael Jordan, Scotty Pippen, and Dennis Rodman were on the team. Now they just are not as great as they used to be. :\
I've gotten more and more into football because my brother currently plays. He's going to be a full back this year; and in the past he was on the defensive line and offensive line.

Oh how awesome you played basketball as well! I played when I was younger for the YMCA, and I never played in middle or high school [all the girl basketball players were mean]. I currently don't do any sports now, unless you count biking. But I do enjoy going outside and doing things when I can. :] Do you still play anything?
Gahh broken wrist? Not fun! I broke my foot and had crutches for 3 weeks about 13 years ago. It was fun...sort of. I slipped in my yard, and I landed on my foot sideways. Broke the bone in my pinkie toe.

Yeah Usain Bolt was a BAWS. I'm glad the US won the most medals. My best friend told me last night that of ALL TIME, we have won 2,200 medals, and the second closest is about 1,000. Yeah, we are awesome. ;p

I enjoy watching baseball and football. I don't know if we have discussed this already, but oh well! I am a Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts fan [I'm located right in between Chicago and Indianapolis as far as distance goes]. I am also a Chicago Cubs fans, NOT the White Sox. Eeew. How about you? What sports do you enjoy watching?
I also used to play basketball back when I was 11-12 years old. That was a lot of fun. I also enjoy riding my bike. :]

Oh wow, sorry random, but to get back to your question about the Olympics [what reminded me is that I watched the Closing Ceremony tonight]. I did watch some events here and there, and everything I watched I was impressed, especially with the swimming and the volleyball! Also, the gymnastics was fun to watch too!
I enjoyed the Closing Ceremony as well [I noticed "British Invasion" was taking place]. I was happy to see the Spice Girls reunite for it, I loooooved the Spice Girls as a kid. That was very nostalgic for me. :]

Yeah being tipsy is fun, but my best friend isn't too keen on drinking. She gets headaches often from them. I drink occasionally, like when I go out to eat or at some sort of get-together. I like the fruity cocktails more than beer.
I started "drinking" after I was 21, because I knew I could buy the stuff at stores or restaurants. Also, when my best friend and I go to Cubs games, I'll get a Bud Light with my pretzel. I'm still trying to acquire that taste for beer. ;p

Oh Minecraft is fun! I played some before.
Oh Mario games to suggest? Hmm, I could go on all day about Mario! So you want to get the ROMs for your emulators? I suggest first and foremost, Super Mario World! That game is amazing, and is my all time favorite! Yoshi's Island is another great game, I recommend trying that one out as well. Both of these games are for the SNES [if you didn't know that already x_X ]. Of course you cannot go wrong with the original Super Mario Brothers 1 & 3. SMB 2 is meh. The Donkey Kong series is a lot of fun too [for NES and SNES].
For Nintendo64, Super Mario 64 is a lot of fun. So are the Mario Party games, and Paper Mario!
For Gamecube, I recommend Super Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door...oh gosh, so many!
And all the Mario Kart games are amazing.

Oh I have never been a math girl, so it's a good thing I'll be teaching little ones simple math! :laugh: I always enjoyed Art and Language Arts. I was runner up in 4th and 5th grade at my school for the Spelling Bee. It was cool. I'm a great speller, and I always loved doing spelling tests.

I remember when I was in 4th grade, everyone had the games and cards. I was like one of the last people to get the cards. And my mom bought us the Topps ones, and I was like "No! These aren't the right ones!" I still will occasionally buy cards just to see what is out there. :x And it got so bad at school where we were not allowed to bring our cards and Gameboys to school anymore. '~'

Aww why thank you! I do enjoy the devil costume, and the pirate one is a fun one too! I got these costumes at a fabric store, but the devil one is one my mom had from a long time ago. I even wore that thing when I was in 3rd grade. Now I just make it look...different, if you will. ;] We got the costumes for Halloween because we are in desperate need of adult costumes since all we have are kid ones! :laugh:

Yes, Miss Arielle! It's official. I showed interest in teaching the Thursday evening class, and the boss said that there was an opening to teach it, so I snatched it right up! Also, it was one of those things where I took classes there when I was younger, and back in March I thought it would be amazing to work there. And it is! I love it.

Hmm good question--when DOES school start for me? I know I start when the preschool I'll be at this semester starts. I heard it was after Labor Day, which is nice [in the past, when I didn't have a confusing schedule, I started the 2nd to last Monday in August.

Olee is a cute name It's a cool and different way to spell it! I like it. :] I actually don't have any nicknames. Nobody calls me Ari or anything like that. Lol.

I am getting some practice with working with kids with my relatives because I do have a half niece who is 6, and my cousin who I babysat last weekend who is also 6. I love that age so it's good! On Saturday, my cousin did not believe me that I am 23; it was so hilarious! She is almost as tall as I am, which is crazy...! Yeah I'm so short!
And being around my best friend's niece and nephew has really opened my eyes as to how to take care of a baby and stuff like that. ^_^ It can get stressful though!

Oh gosh, I would hate to have to go to a crowded pool! I would want my own pool to enjoy! I took swimming lessons when I was in preschool, and I was OK in high school swimming. I was told that I do a great backstroke. :laugh:

Japanese was fun to learn, but I didn't like my teacher at all. He played favorites big time. It was annoying. I still have all my notes and workbooks from that class! And we even went on a field trip to a Japanese mall in IL and I bought this toilet paper with my Japanese name on it. It was too funny to pass up. So I have this unused TP sitting on my shelf with my Japanese name on it. :laugh:

Jim Gaffigan is my favorite comedian! He was actually born in the town where I went to school, which is really cool to think. When I saw him live, he was 100x funnier in person than on TV.
And I would I am a good cook, although I do not get the chance to cook much. I can make an amazing meringue pie and calzones [using my own dough]. :] And I like making up my own little recipes too. With ramen noodles, I do not like using those flavored packets they come with, so I just make butter garlic noodles a lot of times. :] It's yummy.
What is Arabian food like? I have never tried it before.

Yeah! Gurl likes to do sneak attacks too! She will bolt out in front of you when you walk by! Mickey used to do that too! Gurl is now 2.5 years old; the vet said her birthday is Valentines Day [go figure] ;p Silly.
