Yes, the Vulpix is so cute <3 it's actually a Christmas gift for Nymphadora, who is one of the moderators for our X and Y section here, since Vulpix is her favorite Pokémon. However, she hasn't been able to receive it yet because she doesn't have wifi :(

The only chance shiny I've managed to come across was a shiny Silcoon in HeartGold during a bug catching contest, and it was by chance. Other than that, I've obtained a Shiny Vulpix from when the shiny value trick was discovered and when InstaCheck was working, but too bad Nintendo created a patch that disallows for shiny value checking.
