Where's Togepi? :) I'm done Houndour and Azumarill now.

EDIT: Screwed up and didn't Egg Move Aqua Jet on it. Back to the se-...breeding shop. Thinking of an Azumarill strategy.

Were you still looking for a Mawile with Fang moves? I actually have some lying around after I acquired two from Wonder Trade, although I don't think any of them have perfect IVs. They're all have 4 or 5, though.

Yeah, I got a Bold one with an error. Used two Destiny Knots. It took two batches. Did you want a 5IV that does have a desired nature to work with (I have lots of Timid)? Or the Bold 6IV? I plan to eventually rebreed that and go for a Timid 6IV. Or another nature.

I went for Timid. The idea was to give moves like Dark Pulse and Flamethrower a needed boost and give Speed the gain, with no emphasis on the Attack stat.

I'm reconsidering, however. Even though this guide suggests Nasty Plot and a Hidden Power to round out the moveset (I chose Flamethrower over Fire Blast for accuracy), I don't have the patience for Hidden Power breeding and going for a spread like 31/30/29/31/29/30 or somesuch. I could mix in a Pursuit/Sucker Punch trap, or I could put Solar Beam and use a Mental Herb instead of a Life Orb (whichever gets rid of the one-turn chargeup wait for an instant attack). Nasty Plot might stay in that scenario.

BTW, I did get the Shiny Metagross (6IV) for a 1IV Shiny Eevee. Trade of the day. I had offered a similar 6IV.

Sure, I guess that would save me some time. :) I can IV breed, but take it as far as you want. Someone on Neoseeker is currently chatting with me about a possible Shiny trade; original post was for a Shiny Eevee, so seeing if he wants my 1IV or something else.

Well, my next project is a Togepi, but I am still deciding on if I want Egg Moves. And Azumarill (it evolved) I already have 5IV; it just comes to the 6IV now.

Back awake, looking into the Houndour now. I have a Houndoom with Fire Fang now; that's an Egg Move in addition to being learned normally, so they'll breed with it now. My 1IV had no Egg Moves; extra moves known were parental moves (Embargo and Flamethrower), clearly from two parents knowing both.

Should have VMed that to start with. {XD}

I leveled for a while, then bred a 4IV in one shot (fifth of six Eggs). Might run a second set with that parent tomorrow to test, try for a 5IV...then move on and level/breed the 4IV for a 5IV to repeat one more time.
