  • Lol, on PC at work? I'm not even going to ask. I'm about seven hours behind you, (western mountain time) and I can't really trade tomorrow or friday. Would 4:00pm your time on Saturday work?
    Hello! I would be more than happy to help you evolve your Poliwhirl with trade! I wouldn't take that Virizon, though; just making friends with you would be enough! I don't need anything in return!

    So when are you open?
    Haha, Lucky Egg is useless with traded ones, give them something to power their moves instead. You have a chance to make them more powerdul in battle AND get Lucky Egg boosts at the same time with traded ones. :D

    (Then give the Lucky Egg to the next one in line should the one you're using faint; that way, it gets boosted experience immediately.)
    The boosted experience, FYI, is identical to what would be obtained by handing your Unova-caught Pokémon a Lucky Egg.

    I say "a" because multiple can be obtained aside from the storyline one. Get a Lillipup with Pickup to Lv.50 (don't evolve it) and you might find it randomly picks one up somewhere through something like Lv.80, where it is replaced by another item (a TM I think).

    Alternatively, the Treasure Hunter on Route 13 might randomly give you one, and if you want to doctor this, save right before talking to him and return to the home screen if you don't like the item you get (DeepSeaTooth and DeepSeaScale are useful as well to evolve Clamperls though both are found lying around in Routes 13 and 17, and Prism Scales for Feebas if you don't catch Milotic already evolved though, again, there's one found elsewhere).

    You can then hand all of the Lucky Eggs to the Pokémon you're training and take them away if you stick them in the PC or want to prepare them for battle by giving them a power item. Note that traded ones do not benefit from the Lucky Egg; they already are "lucky" since you are training them. Traded Eggs however become your Pokémon and would need the Lucky Egg. ;)
    Hmm I think the new user hangout is a good place to make friends, especially when everyone else is new too and basically friendless 0: There's also the DCC sticky thread in other chat & discussions which is basically like a chat thread where people post a lot every day. It's honestly hard to say, you can make friends posting just about anywhere so long as you actually post and don't leave after making 5 posts. XD;
