If/when you pop in again, there's a new update in the HMTK thread to check out. And yes, there is a heart system! If you've made any progress on features since the version I last sent you, feel free to send it my way to be added to the official release.

The toolkit has always been publicly available for download, so feel free to use it however you like. If you can finish what's there, I'm all for it. I had hoped to find the time to add the finishing touches, but just haven't had the time or motivation for a while. If I remember right, the main things left are implementing festivals, marriage/children, and more depth to the communication system with villagers. Everything else at least partially works I believe (except probably a day/night system, but a simple one should fix that up pretty easily). Maybe one of these days I'll pop back in and have things fixed up.

If you make changes and improve it a bit, feel free to re-post it in another thread (or even other forums, for that matter). Just make sure that everyone in the credits list gets credit for it for the things they did. I may revive the original thread if I do come back at some point and finish it.

Yeah, I am. I decided that I'd put it off until the message system was fixed, but now it's mostly working so I can do it. I'm probably going to add it to the next maintenance release (I don't think I can fit it in the one I'm releasing tomorrow on time) with a bunch of other stuff.

I'll update the credits list tomorrow with the new release, and you'll still be on it even though it hasn't been added yet. After all, you already provided the rips.

Of course. The reason I asked was to make sure I was crediting the proper person.

The hearts? Yes, I ripped them all :) I decided to do it since no one else never done it...Hey, if you do use them, can you credit me? It'd be pretty awesome of ya :)

By the way, I just want to be 100% clear: these were ripped by you correct?

Thanks for that. By the way, you posted the message on your profile, so I didn't notice it until just now (I thought I'd check because I remembered I used to do the same thing all the time). You have to click View Conversation then reply.

The link to your account is probably the easiest. Otherwise you'd have to upload them on a filehosting site.

That'd be great actually. I was wanting to add the hearts when talking to marriage candidates, but they weren't in the SNES version so I didn't have anywhere to rip them from.
