  • Yeah I'm new to this site, I only came to ask the guy to change his game's name...

I guess I did over-exaggerate when I said I might get "sued", but I'm sure it's not right to have the same game name as another guy, but since they haven't posted a single thing since like 2008, I doubt they haven't quit, so that gives us the right to take the name, right?...

Anyways, I didn't wanna risk getting into trouble, better safe than sorry :P
Umm, you're supposed to click on his page to post 0__0 He's never gonna get that message unless you post it on his page. You must be new to forums. BTW, its a Pokémon game, you can't get sued, you get banned (wwoooohhh so scarrryyy) So don't sweat it.
Yes, I already know that it's super old, but I thought I'd get into trouble if I had the same name as him without permission. If you don't get permission to legalize stuff, you end up getting sued. If it wasn't for me asking for permission for adding fakemons to our team's hack, I would have gotten into deep trouble, coz the owner of the fakemons rejected to give me permission. I guess I forgot to add the "I know that this thread is really old" part, I would've sworn I wrote it, I guess when I had to re-write the post I forgot...

I'd rather break a forum rule than break a law rule, it's only basic logic :P
You posting that in pokemon clear crystal thread made you look a bit like an ass. First of all, a game name is a name, nothing more, there have been plenty of games running the same name as each other. Next point of it, they had the name first it was posted nearly 2 years ago, if you read the rules and post dates you would find you broke a rule posting in a thread older than 2 months.
