    What a lovely hobby, haha.

I was mainly talking about Pyra in that picture too, assuming that the one riding it is Pyra. Try experimenting with different body positions because her body language right now is very stiff and rigid.

Yeah, that would be my main critique with the smoothness of the colors. Although, there is one more thing I would like to point out, and that's how tense everything seems to be. Try to have your characters slouch a little, or just have more reasonable body positions than just straight up. It'll help look more natural.

I might not be a fan of the style, but I would still like to see it. It's still a piece I can critique, so why not?

It happens. I'm better now, so that's good at least.

That's good to hear! If you're particularly proud of one piece, or just want feedback, make sure to slide one my way.

Well, I'm coming off of the flu, so much better than I have been the rest of this week, and I have a few new ideas for my book. I know, so exciting.

    How about you?

Happy new year to you too! I was working, so I didn't feel like much of a holiday.

If my drawing skills were up there, I would totally create some awesome things, but it seems my imagination is a little too wild for my drawing talent.

It's good, but maybe even go a step further and do some more shading. It seemed like it could use some more on the bottom there and at various features around the face. If you're going for a flashlight effect, then perhaps expand the picture out to show the security guard shining the light. I want to see you try that! Give yourself a really hard challenge, haha.

Also a bit comical, but yeah, action poses are tough. Whenever I tried them, they came out so disproportional and dumb. It's a a lot of shading to get the look of depth, and then there's actually figuring out what your subject looks like from that angle. Maybe there's a guide or two out there somewhere on the internet.

I can tell you spent a long time on the coloring because the colors are really smooth. Although, I feel like in order to get the full scale of power and size this creature possesses, I feel like a different pose would help. You know, something involving action. Those poses are really hard though, but hey, something to work towards, right?

    Other than that, nice job!
