You'll find that they only support the 95W CPUs. Which is where I got the whole not-supporting-hexcores from.

That's what I'm saying. You don't NEED to overclock for it to burn out the board.

It will work, but you risk burning out the board before overclocking.

It's only specced for a 95W CPU, so that basically means no Phenom X4/X6 for you, unless you track down a 95W low-power chip that's going to be slower.

It's not a great board if you're still updating it.

If you continue to pump that much voltage through it, you will kill it. My Phenom quad (same architecture, but more voltage is required for the extra cores) does those clocks (3.8GHz) on 1.4V and it's very warm.

That is a LOT of volts to be pumping through your CPU.
