You should add this hack in progressing hacks section.
Edit: you need new tiles, and some new overworlds, and better maps
many mapping mistakes, you walk on stuff you shouldn't walk on, can't go into places, like your room,ect.

Your hack is really bad, sorry I have to say it.

Reasons:
- If Oak holds you, he walks through the boulders.
- If you choose treecko, he chooses no pokémon.
- Mapping is bad.

1 thing found: If I choose treecko as starter, then my rival has ??????????????????, Known as no pokémon.

How do I open it?? it is a .file and not .gba

Edit: Oh, I found it already :)

Do I have to change it in Amber??

It says Fire red, but its my hack. :) The only things done is the starting town, and a bit of route 1. Text is edited, and you have choices of Cyndaquil, Squirtle, or Treeko as your starter!

Known Bugs:
No bugs, so far there is no new scripts. This is only edited in the intro, new town, and a little bit of route 1.

Known Problems:
Text goes over other sentences
Not able to walk through certain areas
Can walk through some houses
You get stuck in your room!
You can walk through rocks/sidings.
Old bit of Kanto still shows up :(
Town Map still has Kanto on it, not Chatanga

Most of these problems can be fixed through Advance Map/Text

Its beta, theres bound to be problems!

Being totally honest, yes but the only thing I did was mapping the whole firered rom and then adding wild pokemon from johto, hoenn, and kanto....but then when I tried the game the hoenn and johto pokes won't evolve because I didn't know how to get the national dex to work.XP
But I am also beta testing for Pokemon Advance, and two others that there name escapes my head right now.XD

Hey, just to let you know take the spoiler out of your signature, or they'll block your whole signature just to let you know.And if you need a beta tester for pokemon ambar I'lll be glad to help XD.And also if your having trouble with hacking and I saw on the simple questions about comdlg.oxc and advance text I'm afraid you need a different type of text editor cause A-Text does not really work for windows7 or vista.
