  • I can confirm that there are various desserts at Jackson. No stress cards, but cell phones. Of course, that was in 2007. By now, they probably have catered meals and hotel rooms with swimming pools and stuff,
Yeah, let's hope! It could be a heavy burden at times.

That sounds like a decent way to be killing time, waiting for your new house to be finished, haha. How long did it take until your house was done, if you remember?
Well, hey, at least it still does have some chance of coming back. You'd be able to snatch up once it does, haha. That sounds like a good plan, yeah.

Wow, that sounds even more... bothersome, lol. At that age, definitely couldn't have lasted long if it were me; I would have constantly annoyed my parents about going elsewhere.
You didn't get to use your college benefits because of this? Dang, that sucks. D= Will they be bringing them back again at some point, and if so, will you get to finally use?

That sounds like a good plan. If he's living alone, it definitely won't be much of a hassle. Last time we've done such a thing, which was nearly a decade ago, we've had to stay at our aunt's house together for about two weeks or so, which wasn't fun at all, haha.
So, would getting it in wind up extending your contract?

That sounds nice! It's been a while since we've done a thing like this to ours, haha. Just curious, until renovation is complete, where's he going to live?
Few more years? That sounds sort of like a long wait, haha. Ah, that's cool. Is he planning to renovate his house, or something along the lines?
Yeah, it'd feel sort of weird at first, I imagine. You'll get used to it all within just a week, though, I'm sure, haha. It's good that you're back! Getting to spend some time with your family, I hope? Also, good luck on that! How long are you expecting it to take, approximately?
Not too bad; been getting assigned with a lot of projects lately, but thankfully, none of them are too overwhelming. Haha, I see. Does this mean you're back home now?
Ah, that's good! It's not so bad where; been a little more occupied lately with classes and whatnot, which I like. Anything new with you?
Eh, it's a pretty serious medical issue. My recruiters said a waiver is possible, and I'm pretty sure they'd be willing to do it for me, but it just doesn't seem like a huge possibility. My lung collapsed, spontaneously. It has the greatest chance of reoccurring in the first 3 years. If the 3 years pass and nothing happens, then I'm good to go. If it happens again, then it will be a permanent dq. I can't see a waiver being issued under these circumstances.
What branch are you in? I'm dqed from enlisting for at minimum 3 years, with the possibility of it being permanent. I doubt I'll be able to get a waiver, so I just have to wait.
Yeah man it's a pretty decent town, definitely better than the Chicago area where i'm at now. People are so much nicer and respectful in Missouri compared to ignorant "I'm better and more enlightened than you cause I know everything" people in northern Illinois. I can't wait til I move back to Missouri lol.
