I've recently started watching anime/listening to Japanese music again, and I'm starting to remember why I used to be an otaku... so I decided to give learning Japanese another shot. As I recall, I never liked any of kanji flashcard programs online, because they take forever to set up, and aren't very user friendly, so I made one of my own that's as easy to use as I could make it.
Not sure if anyone else would be interested in it, but I've found it useful so far.
I started LPing about a year and a half ago, and there always seemed to be some major life event getting in the way of continuing to record just as I'm starting to record... UNTIL NOW! So yeah, I'm back to LPing, for good this time. I even said in the description of the first video I uploaded that the only thing that could stop me from recording is if someone in my family died... and my uncle died the next day. Still recording though, so yeah. Should be good now.
I'm currently LPing Morrowind...
So, for my application to DigiPen, I'm supposed to make up my own card game, and write an essay about it. I assume this is to prove my general creative ability, as well as my ability to playtest, and fix problems in my design. The game is called Traitor, and is heavily influenced by Real Time Strategy games like Starcraft 2, Age of Empires, etc.
Here are the rules after way too much time playtesting it:
I've been wanting a blog for a couple years now, and had I just waited until I hit the 5000 post requirement (Which is a stupidly high number.), it would have taken me about 7 years in total to get it, at the rate that I'm going now. Thankfully, Andy swooped in to save the day, and donated for me. :D
So, for my first blog entry, I want to thank him for being so generous. Thanks Andy! <3
