It seems like you need some help in creating Digimon back sprites for your hack, I'd like to help, but I'm not that good in spriting so I can't cover all of your spriting needs.
If it's okay, I might try to work on some, but I'll need your front sprites to create the back sprites with the same palette. Don't worry, stealing is not my thing.. I know how it feels to have your work stolen, and I wouldn't want anyone to feel that too.
Also, I'm pretty good creating sprites with armors, so if you already have a front sprite for WarGreymon(*my personal favorite), you can send it to me and I'll see what I can do.
That'd be all.
Thank you very much, and good luck with your project!
Thanks for your interest in the project. If you want to help I'd be glad to give you a front sprite. WarGreymon still needs some editing until he's finished, but right now I can give you DarkTyrannamon.
Just get back to me whenever you've finished and I'll let you know what I think. I'm positive you'll do a good job, so if you want I would gladly let you join the team once I see the sprite.
Also I tried to PM you, but the site said you had disabled PMs. You might want to check that out just in case.
It's not that it sucks ingeneral, it's just that you're making a game set for like one specific audience. Anyone who's not a fan of SCANDAL wouldn't really understand the premise and get this game in general. That's just how I feel about it, really.
I suggest keep going with this, since you've obviously put loads of work into it, but if you're making a hack based on a concept like that, understand that many people will just be turned off by the game seeing as they wouldn't really get it if they didn't like SCANDAL. It's like I said; I wouldn't make a hack about a certain band/artist because it limits the audience the hack is directed towards.
Sorry if I'm being a ****, I just wanna be like honest with you, yea? No hard feelings or anything.
I was wondering if I can post your hack on another sit I'm on *and give credit to where it's due*. It is pspiso. They have a homebrew section there that contains some pokemon hacks * basically some of the people there do post the hacks but, don't ask permission before they post them*. I made a thread there that contained some amazingly great hacks that I saw on this site. The thread is at pspiso. So far it has a few hacks and tutorials on how to patch the base roms for the hacks. I didn't give links to the base roms *like I said in the thread over there it is against the rules on this site* but I only added mirrors to the hacks, only if the creator of the hack allows me to. I also added the patching tools needed for creating the new hack *or say where the tool is if I cannot make a mirror for one*.
Hi there- I meant to PM you regarding the thread you submitted, I apologise for forgetting to do so. Anyway, I saw your thread, but I'm afraid I didn't approve it. From what I could see, it's basically identical to the hack's Progressing Hacks thread, and as such it does not meet necessary requirements for the Hacks Showcase. I know that you added a few more screens, but they didn't really show that much more content/progress on the hack. So I'm afraid I didn't approve it.
You should know, also, that you needn't post a new thread for the same hack- if your hack progresses enough, you can VM me to check the Progressing Hacks thread and see if it qualifies for the Showcase. If it does, I'll simply move it- no need to post another :) (I mean, you can, if you really want to, but one hack can't have more than one thread for it).
A good rule-of-thumb to bear in mind would be to consolidate updates to a reasonable length. If that's not possible, then change the version numbering method for the hack. Some version numbering methods include:
1. Alpha, Beta, Gamma (Stages of software development - interchangeable with other types mentioned)
2. x.xx (The oldest style - from wayback in the 90s of computing)
3. x.x.x (the current style for version numbers)
