A blank verse I wrote a while ago, I hope you enjoy.
Beneath the decades of graffiti,
urban poetry lays a tale otherwise overlooked.
Of midnight debauchery and teenage shenanigans.
Not the great thinkers or future revolutionaries,
but we found the answers.
Different times, different places,
different creeds, and different faces;
we shared a dream.
Deep-seated comradery in this anonymous fraternity.

So I'm graduating High School in a week and I'm scared out of my mind. It's not that I don't have plans or that I'm not excited to pretty much start my life, but I'm just afraid of having to acknowledge the fact that pretty much everything I've known for the past 12 years is coming to an end. It also doesn't help that I've been homeschooled for the past two years and I'm just completely intimidated by the thought of being in a classroom again. I'm just wondering how everyone else dealt with this....
