    Also, I'm fairly certain it's more than two. His parents explained through his doctors words to the effect of "He's avoiding reality and difficult situations by creating a new personality / identity for different situations." Eh. This stuff is depressing. =_=;

I see. And yeah. He went to church camp at Florida, and had a break down. I still worry about him all the time. Since he's been gone, his parents got divorced, after they had twins. It's quite tragic. Interestingly, he's always remembered me though. No matter which "personality" is active. It's kinda cruel, gives me a little hope for him and then science tells me "no". I can only imagine what it's like. :\

Well, that has got to be no bueno! I have a friend with multiple personality and a few other mental health issues. He went as far as to almost kill his father. He's in Vegas now, and I hear he's doing pretty well. Being a teenager is what made it the hardest for him because his body chemicals and hormone levels were on a constant flux evidently. But I think they finally have is meds figured out and his chemicals steady enough for him to be happy as he is.

And yeah, it's in Python. I'm considering making it into C++. Maybe. If I do, it will use actual threads rather than thread emulation like I'm doing now with Python. The problem is that I can't type-define a function pointer in my base Task class then use it to point to a member function of an actual implementation. "Cannot convert between ActualGameTask::void (*) to Task::void (*)" which is weird, because all I would need to fix this is a static cast ; the rest of the function signature is entirely the same, and my classes are polymorphic ( can you tell I've tried this already? XD )
    EH. It's a headache.

*also, I'm not actually bi-polar fyi. It just feels that way a lot of the times.

Huh? Oh, it's entirely open source, actually! (:
And only defines games and 'threading' classes.
Therefor, adding the 3D rendering would be as 'simple' as writing a 3D map editor/renderer and OW stuffs. and take care of the 'pokemon' part -- species info / individual pokemon info/ etc.
And seeing as it's hosted on Google Code, and written in Python, using an SDL port, I don't see how I could go about NOT making this open source. xD

And oh geez. I'm pretty bipolar. You'd probably learn more about me by reading my old blog posts ( -- there's quite a few and some are lengthy. I reccomend reading the 'writing' section if you read anything. )
    Some of my favorite songs...
Misguided Ghosts - Paramore ( Kind of acousticy )
Soul Sick - Rob Thomas ( I love nearly ALL of his songs, btw. Great guy, great music ).
Zebrahead in general also makes some of my favorites. Some of their music is awesome, the rest of it sounds like crap. But I like the rebel persona radiating from their music. Not the moron stereotypical "bad***" rebel, though. The kind that think.
I love most of P!nk's music, also.
Katy Perry is fun to listen to sometimes.
Ingrid Michaelson is also pleasant, I think.
All American Rejects are nice. (:
I absolutely can not stand the vast majority of rap that is blasted from speakers in cars by wanna be gangsters. A shockingly large amount of it is rediculously shallow, and sounds like Black-Eyed-Peas without auto-tune. But I have seen a few decent examples of rap, so I'm not entirely against the genre. That's pretty much the peaks of my musical interests.

I can tell a TON about people by their interests, the questions they ask, the things they state, their vocabulary and syntax. Give me a few weeks with somebody, and I can predict their actions, reactions, intentions, motives, emotions, etc. Sometimes word for word, even. It's non-intentional of course. I don't do it on purpose. That would be kind of weird.

What about you? What music do you like?

    Lol @ SuperMario
    And I think that's a good analogy -- 2D w/ 3D forced on them.
And did you see the B2/W2 trailers? Pokemon is actually starting to look like an anime according to those. Maybe the series can turn around? My fingers are crossed tight!
And maybe I was a tad harsh, but I certainly can't stand him in any sense. ( SP ). And as far as the portability issue, you bring up a depressingly good point.

They just looked so much prettier and had such attention to detail.
    I hate making typos. >.<

Ikr!? However, I do think that the 3D allows for nicer effects and 'details' in general, for example the B/W Battle System is terrific, I think. I'm not too crazy about the OW navigation though. I definitely prefer the prior.
And SarcasticPrince. He urks me. In so many ways. I don't even...He screwed with my friend. I personally hope he burns in Hell. So what have you been up to recently? Game Dev? That's where I've noticed quite a few RH veterans' lean to, including myself.
