Hm. I take it I'm good at poking, then.

I often talk a lot and I also talk pretty fast and in the wrong situations. I almost never get complaints on how I don't talk enough... Also, since I'm pretty psyched about going to Japan next month, all my jargon is currently somehow related to Japan. It's fairly annoying to explain about, say, okonomiyaki, for ten minutes and then get a "what the heck is okonomiyaki?" Eh, ahem. Moving on.

I, too, really love XKCD. As said, I don't get all of the programmer jokes, but I do get most of the math, science, sci-fi and internet jokes. I also like it that the author uses stick figures, because it is also often shown that he actually can draw pretty well, so it's not about his skills or anything. One of my all-time favourites is the one where Black Hat Guy presents some nifty puzzle to a physics teacher (or math, I don't remember), making the teacher stop in the middle of the road and getting hit by a truck.

On another note, there was a XKCD strip in our school's teacher's room's door. (Can you use that many 's's in a row?)

On me liking integrals: you have to remember that I'm still in high school and know very little about all the math this world has to offer. However, I want to note that I had completely lost my enthusiasm towards math - again - until we were taught to integrate. You see, I pretty much hate the mechanical using of formulas that is high school math, but when you integrate, the formulas simply aren't enough. That said, I also completely lose my enthusiasm at least once a year, because I'm not very patient. Not at all, to be honest. I can concentrate on a math problem for about twenty minutes until I flip and decide that I have no mathematical talent whatsoever and that I should focus on writing. Yet I still somehow manage to restore the enthusiasm somehow...

Ah, let's see. I like vectors a lot. I also really like solving equations. Then I also like complex numbers, mathematical logic and number theory... Too bad I only get to do one of the mentioned in school nowadays :< I got really interested about math a couple of years ago and studied some of this and some of that. It was really captivating, but I would never ever ever ever have enough patience to actually have a job that requires using real math. Nope, no way. It's a pity, but I can't help it.

Oh yeah, it would totally rock to bring a huge mosquito back to life :/ I think Soft would mostly give awesome chances to plant biologists - you know, the ability to cross-breed Hay #1 with Ancient Hay #5 to achieve goal x - but I don't think it would do that much good to other folks... Well, you could always play with the DNA, because genes are awesome, but then again their DNA might be too different to have any kind of real use anymore. I don't know. It would be awesome to breed dinosaurs and other critters, though. Maybe just not Jurassic Park style.

Okay, so you got dragged into a conference, and now you're almost the official internet privacy intsructor? =D Sounds kind of... awesome. Also, I couldn't help but to think how funny it would have been if you'd have told me about the internet privacy thing and then proceeded to tell your street address and everything This privacy question is a tricky one, though. I think people should be able to do whatever they want anonymously over the internet, but then again, you can't just let people do whatever they want, because not everyone is nice. You also can't restrics other people's freedom because some people just can't abide by laws... Ahem, but I figure you kind of already know this. Moving on.

Ha, we have all four seasons! In your face! We have a cold winter, a chilly spring, a cool summer and a chilly autumn! I mean, of course our summer is warm to me, but with temperatures that never even reach 28 degrees celsius, I figure it's not very warm on a global scale. Still, we do have all four seasons. I also live by the sea, and generally our cities are clean and have more trees than people, so we have no pollution problems or anything. We also have no mountains. Uh, all we have are pretty much trees and lakes... It makes for a beautiful landscape, though.

It's always good or your genes to be a "mix-breed". In my country, immigrants have only started to flock in around the eighties, so the people of Finland, especially in the eastern part, are terribly in-bred. We have the highest concentration of odd, rare, recessively hereditary diseases in the world. Of course they're still rare, about 1 in every 100 000 people, but many of those diseases are only found in Finland. And that's, you know, not an awesome thing at all. There are none of those diseases in my family, because my lineage is from the coast, but still... Also, the lack of immigrants has made our people either racists or xenophobes. Don't take me wrong, I love my country, but sometimes I wish the people here weren't so damn narrow-minded.

I agree on that lineage isn't very important on who the person turns out to be, but I still think it's very interesting to find out where people come from. For example, two of my ancestors were hanged for piracy on the 17th century! How awesome is that? =D Okay, they were criminals and so on, but still, it's very interesting. At least that's what I think. I like history, although sometimes I find it hard to believe that those things have actually happened and those people have actually lived...

Mates do consume time, yeah. My relationship has reached the stage where it doesn't need constant doting to stay alive anymore (read: we're practically like a married couple already), so it's not that time-consuming anymore... But a few years ago it took practically all the free time I had. Not that I didn't enjoy it ^-^ But you know what? I also think that the easiest way to find someone is to not look for them. I met mine in IRC though a coincidence and got to know him a bit... Lucky for me that we were both honest and not the kind of people who hang out in the internet and pretend to be something they aren't. Anyway, the point was, don't worry ^-^ The just looked so sad!

...I pretty much think people already go "WTF?" when they see this I reckon VM's are supposed to be short and PM's the actual way to communicate... But you know what, this might actually increase the privacy of our VM's. I mean, who in their right mind reads something this long if it doesn't even have anything to do with them? :D

There! Another Block-o-text(™)! How'd you like that one?

Hola! What's up? You should answer the latest Block-o-text (tm) so that I can answer yours and we can keep the circle going on forever. Not that I remeber what the last one was about anymore, but it's so much fun to write Block-o-text's (tm)! So, concider this a poke. Unless, of course, you're either busy or sick, in which case I don't want to bother you. I am healthy now, for a change, so... *grin*

Things are going at a brake neck pace lol

I worked 51 hours last week, so this weekend I am just kicking back.

Hey, have you heard of the Black Eyed Peas?

    Thanks! ^^

Hell yeah it is! But I wish it had more moves. Especially considering it can't move after Hyper Beam. Personally, I think Shinji should teach it SolarBeam.

Hi, there. I know you probably don't know me, but I've seen you talk to Kanto Lover a lot.

Anyway, I saw your signature, and I'd really like to know what kind of CSS you're using.

The Bronze Pen
Wow! you managed to take third place in a writing competition! To be honest, the bronze pen looks so much cooler than the other two.
