    1. You were arrogant for using an ad hominem at someone. You're still concealing this fact by claiming this and that and the other, so perhaps you do not own up as well to your mistakes as you may feel.
    2. It's still an ad hominem. You were saying that he was mentally unsound because of "paranoia", which, as I present in point 3, I still fail to see. Also, civility in one post does not imply civility in another. Did you not also notice that I did not call that post out as uncivil? If anything your behaviour is terribly inconsistent.
    3. This is a very real problem that some people face. Because of the propogation of false issues like Rape Culture it is affecting some women's approaches towards men. Do not claim that someone else's problems

Indeed, this indicates hypocrisy on your part - you are marginalizing Kanzler's issues (that he made clear in his posts that it is actually affecting his relationships with people) but you chant about how we cannot understand how minorities are marginalized.

I do not make truces. I am a friend with no one. I only state what I believe is the truth. If you are a fool, then I will remind you that you are a fool. I am willing to stand down if you prove me wrong, but you have failed to do so yet. I'm sorry that you feel like I am attacking you, but I do not tolerate this kind of childish behaviour. I have called others out on it and I will call you out as well. Perhaps it is you being extremely defensive about the issue at hand.

Feel free to report every single one of my posts that make you feel like you are being attacked. If the mods agree, so be it. But I have said little to actually attack you, while you have been on the defensive against not just me but other members on the forum repeatedly.

In the threads, I have a right to disagree with your opinion and your arrogant attitude towards it as well as other members makes you more of a target of debate with everyone, not just myself. Perhaps people are picking your posts because you are claiming things based on your strong emotions and your defensive attitude and are more inclined to debate them as opposed to the posts that appear to be "matter of fact".

    1. Oh well *shrugs* I guess I can't satisfy everyone, can I?
    2. That's not civil. You just put fancy words in something called an ad hominem.
    3. There is no level of paranoia in his post. I would love for you to explain what it is.

I misunderstood, I'll take that one back. Perhaps if you didn't send three tiny messages at a time your message would have made more sense.

    1. I back my ideas with facts and logic.
    2. No you have not.

    Quote:
You really... need to go seek help or something. I'm not kidding. This is something that you should discuss with a professional (or a friend really) who can offer insight because that's some crazy paranoia that people should not have in their minds. Like at all.
This is what I was referring to specifically by the way. Calling your opponent mentally unsound is disgusting.
    3. It is perfectly healthy behaviour to have an opinion. If you actually read my response instead of grunting your way to my profile to whine, you would realize that his opinion is completely sound. He's basically saying that men shouldn't be told that they shouldn't rape people because that's like telling a dog that they shouldn't bite people and it is derogatory and disgusting.

P.S. didn't you say you weren't going to talk to me again? lmao

That could explain it, too. xD

OH Finals. Ugh, I love finals. In the sense of once they're done, you get a mental break for a while.

I do, but I do hope you'll at least look at the article I linked. It doesn't really have anything to do with MRA or feminism other than it illustrates what I'm trying to say about reaching out to people. For me, an argument is almost always about trying to come to an understanding. I want the other person to understand my reasons for believing what I do, and I want to understand their reasons, and then I try to reconcile them where possible and agree to disagree where not possible.

I get that it's easy to get emotional about a topic you care a lot about, and if that's the case, I'm not going to ask you to argue with me on a topic if you think it's not going to accomplish anything but ill will. I just think that, generally speaking, people don't feel strongly about things unless they have at least a few good reasons that would make sense to a reasonable, well-meaning person, and there's a lot of strong feelings on both sides of this debate, to be sure. For my part, I think I do misunderstand at least a decent amount of what the "other side" is advocating here (I don't exactly get a lot of exposure to this issue outside of the communities I'm a part of, unfortunately). I do try to acknowledge when I've made bad assumptions and concede when I'm obviously wrong on something.

Feel free. But unlike you, I maintain a formal attitude that, in turn, does not make me look like a buffoon. Perhaps your consistent attacks will prove to be more of a harm than helpful, as others will view them as attacks as opposed to witty responses. I will leave you with that.

I dislike double posting, but here is what I have to say on this matter.

    Quote originally posted by daigonite:
While freedom of speech does allow you to say whatever you want, it doesn't make you immune to their response. They have every right to be offended, no matter how trivial you think it is. So if you care about not pissing people off, then yes, you do actually have to respect what other people say. Of course, there's a point where you have to say, "are you ♥♥♥♥ing serious" because you can't cater to everyone's speshul needs. That's when it turns back to you.
I am willing to accept that a single person dislikes my manner of speaking, because they are one person who is overreacting. If you don't like it, too bad. Since nobody has had a problem with it before, perhaps it is you that is the problem, and not me.

Actually, no, I shouldn't. Regardless of your trolling behaviour I have kept consistent face because that is what I do. If you read through my previous posts you will discover that I hold a very similar "attitude". Again, very few other people have a problem with it. I'm sorry that it offends you, but I will not change for a vocal minority that is over reacting.

I understand that. Don't worry, I get it. However, there is also the concept that it is based on the aggregate opinion as opposed to a minority, because sometimes, the minority will claim things that the aggregate opinion disagrees with. You two are the only two that have disagreed with my disposition, out of many others who have posted in the thread. I will not change this "attitude" as you call it to compensate for a minority that is overreacting.

In addition, if anyone shouldn't be using the attitude excuse, it's you. On multiple occasions you talked down to me, brushed me off, acted like an immature fool and acted like a general ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. So please don't tell me how I should act, especially considering that you are much worse.

I need to stop procrastinating these essays because my last few encounters here have just left me like

To whoever it may concern,

I may not post here often, but I have a simple request for those who happen to see me. Please imagine me with a wine glass in hand whenever you read one of my posts. While I do not drink wine, I drink margaritas. Unfortunately the only thing I can put them in lately are wine glasses. It's become quite a habit and I felt the need to share.

I am currently sifting through the forums with my wine glass-margarita combination.

Well not really I'm just procrastinating on a French project which I've only done the cover page for.

I needed something to do, so here I am. Feel free to say hello or something because the plan is for me to log onto this site more often...... we'll see how that plans turns out in the future. So yeah. Sup.

I turn 17 in about an hour.

Yet I don't remember being this excited at all last year.

How odd.

So I'm now a blogger on this forum. Which is cool. It's weird, because I've always been so impartial to this forum even after being a member of it for like two years. Well, if you call me logging in every 4 months being a member, at least not an incredibly active one at any rate. So I suppose this is me giving pokecommunity yet another chance to make me addicted. Although, if I don't come around at least more often it'll make that donation ridiculous in hindsight. Whatever. Now to make this first...
