There's not much you can put on beaches, other than stuff like the beach chairs and stuff from Hoenn. I think there might be some pillars you could add? Other than that, you can only add rocks or some grass paths.

The second and third map could use a bit bigger dimensions for the sake of getting more details into the borders that are accessible by the player. :P

    First map:

The bushes are a big issue to me. Mainly because they're so straight. I understand that it is, in fact, a village... but, as you've stated, is a village attuned with nature. One attuned with nature would not carve out such a settlement, but would much rather settle within nature itself while disturbing the environment as LITTLE as possible. I think the paths look fine, but the trees and flowers should, at the very least, be much more sporadic and untouched. The bushes also make the houses very awkward. The flowers appear much, much too clumped together in that ONE spot, which doesn't look very natural at all. Uhm, something that'll help a LOT with variation would be to edit a few blocks to make diagonal tree connectors. This really does help out with making a more curvy map instead of straight and "staircase"-like. Nature, nature, nature, it would not hurt to throw in some tiny little water feature, such as a pond. Incorporate the elements, homie! Also, more little trees.

    Second map:

So, uhm, more nature. This seems MUCH too straight-forward. Also, the flowers seem too clumped together. Groups of two to four with a sort of checkerboard pattern is pretty rad and seems to work out. Add loads of curves to the river, and you could maybe even stand to make the waterfall a little wider and taller. The mountain ridge should also be made curvier. Rocks do not form evenly, after all. Diagonal connector trees would look pretty damn rad. You could also stand to make the sand paths wider by one tile.

    Third map:
Generally okay, but same problem as before. Make them curves, homie. Real men love curves, and blah, blah, blah. The rocks in the ocean form a pretty bland shape. I know you wouldn't see 'em, really, but still. Also unless that cave has only ONE floor going up, or it's more of a downstairs cave, try adding a layer or two to the mountain.

I actually have LOADS of free time, tbh.

Help me brainstorm ideas. Think heartbreaking. Real tug on the heart kind of story. Where do we start this person?

No, not pregnant. :P Just researching the logistics and feasibility of full-dive virtual technology. Each group has to come up with an idea of how it would actually work and present it. The winning group gets funding to actually try and attempt a prototype.
