I'm not too happy about it either, I was looking forward to using the Battle Frontier with Kanto music ;_;. And because of the switch, my planned game that takes place at the same time as DarkViolet, "Pokemon Saga - Emerald" has now been renamed to Jade, because I'm not going to make a hack of Pokemon Ruby called Pokemon Emerald.

So in "Pokemon Saga - Jade", all battles with Brendan/May will become completely optional. Wally will be involved with the storyline more, his first Pokemon is now Treecko/Torchic/Mudkip, but he still uses Ralts on his team. Think of Gardevoir as Blue's Pidgeot :D.

But I have good news: I FOUND OUT HOW TO EDIT THE BATTLE TOWER POKEMON IN RUBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The offset at where the Pokemon database is starts at 0x4038E0. I posted a thread about it in the R&D section, hoping that some more advanced hacker *coughHackMewcough* could look into it. You wouldn't believe what I had to do to find it.

I'm not going to re-start DarkViolet yet though, I'm making some changes to a Ruby rom as a basis for DarkViolet AND Jade, such as editing their movesets. Did you know that Kirlira learns Magical Leaf in FR/LG, but not in R/S/E? Did you know that Cacnea learns Destiny Bond in FR/LG, but not in R/S/E?

Yup, I actually did notice that, though I guess I missed some of the center tile errors...
And in my opinion, the lack of shadows makes the trees look a little odd in clusters, what do you think?

Actually, I just wrote Palette 7 to the ROM at Viridian City and all the levels started to work!

Map Connections are confusing to begin, but once you get the hang of it, it gets simple.

Because each connection does different directions. I think the upper connection has right as positive, left as negative, but Down connections are opposite.

Well for the past few years we've been a little tight on cash (I blame the economy) so new technology hasn't been very high on our priority list (we didn't even have internet connection until about 2 years ago :O). I would really like to get a DS and Pokemon Platinum though.

I hate automatic updating SO MUCH. It really sucks when you're busy with something and that "your pc will restart in 5 minutes" box pops up and it won't stop bugging you until you restart >.< But never fear, you can turn that annoying thing off! It's still a good idea to update your pc every once in a while to make sure you get the latest security updates and stuff, so I put mine on "check for updates but let me choose whether to download or install them". That way it'll notify you when you have updates available but let you choose the time most convenient to you to install them. Problem solved :D

Well really I love any high-power-high accuracy move (but Earthquake the most ). Shiftry, Lapras, Gengar, Alakazam and Blaziken are some more of my favorites Pokes for fighting with, and as for ones I like solely for cuteness I'd say Shinx is my favorite (don't tell that to all my Eevee plushies though :p).

Well Windows 7 hasn't been around very long, so maybe the company who made your sound card just hasn't made the compatible software yet. You can always hope...

Yes, malware are evil little suckers > I thought I was safe because I had a virus scanner and spyware scanner, but apparently neither of those scan for malware (I figured the virus scanner did at least). It was also partly my fault for downloading stuff from some rather questionable websites. I'm normally careful, but I was getting impatient because I couldn't find what I was looking for on a safe site and just started downloading stuff willy-nilly. You can bet I won't be doing THAT again >.>

Psssh, Portal is small hat. Ever play Super Mario Galaxy? Some of the galaxy levels are just "OMG brb puking x_x" My game-induced nausea has gotten better over the years though. When I saw Super Mario 64 for the first time back in 1996 it made me so sick I couldn't stand up O_o Then again I was watching someone play it on a 72-inch TV screen, that probably didn't help That's why I prefer 2D games, or at least 3D ones that have fixed cameras angles.

My favorite games are RPGs (obviously, I play Pokemon :p) and survival-horror games like Silent Hill, Clock Tower, Resident Evil and Fatal Frame (I believe you know that as Project Zero), which I think is very ironic because I really don't like being scared... also my tastes lean more toward retro games (PS2 era and below, with a preference for SNES. Nothing below NES though).

Thanks, that's actually really helpful. I found diegoisawesome's tutorial shortly after that post. One more thing though, maybe you know, under the tools menu in XSE it has FSF and A-Trainer, but the options are always blurred out. I have those programs in the same folder, but they still cant be opened through XSE. Do you know how to fix this?

Yeah, I preferred most of XP’s features. Everything was way easier to customise, it was much easier to use and it came with a lot more. I had to download so much stuff for Windows 7. I never had to put up with Vista though. My friend’s laptop has it and it’s the biggest mistake ever.

Aww man, that must suck. I’d hate to switch my computer from XP to 7. I can put up with having it on my laptop, but I love XP. Well, maybe the broadband is worth it. I know what you mean. My mam’s the same. My dad wouldn’t have a clue though.

Well, roughly €700 this month. There’s a lot for me to do. But next month I might only make half that. Oh cool. Lol, our house is never clean. We try sometimes but we’re always rushing for something so we never finish. Then, things just go back to the way they were. I’m at home now, but I’m too tired and lazy to do anything. Yeah, the Frontier looks awesome. I actually haven’t even gone there yet. I’ll wait until I’ve finished the game properly.
