Haha yeah it is catchy:D I wish I was that pimp of a video game player lmao. Ditzy blonds usually don't flock around me when I'm busting it out *sobs* lol. Haha your poor dad:p Be nice to the old tunes lol. I just think being able to read music keeps your bridges intact (not to mention it makes writing alot easier... I have a hell of a time explaining my tabs to people:p).

Lol way to go! If it works, it works!

Skip school renegade man! Jk... I won't degrade to the point of being a bad influence:D Yeah I'm jogging here and there. It's tough sometimes, but I'm getting alot better than I was. I'm also gaining some muscle back! I've had a few compliments in the last few weeks, and I'm like... Yeah! Lol. although I will never be an Arnold Schwarzennegar (totally butchered his name:p).

Have you ever hit the weights man?

That's cool man, I hope you guys do get together even if just for a few times:D I'm listening to ultimate NRG as I write this.... *bounces and funks about in the computer chair*:p Yay no tests! You know what bugs me the most in school?: Speeches. Omg I would rather take an F. In fact I often did/do/will.

I like this techno track- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARI2V5yHdJU. Mainly because it reminds me of Wesley Snipes chopping vampires to shreds lmao. TECHNO IS SO GOOD FOR FIGHT SCENES!

I played guitar for like 2 years? prior to meeting them. I completely skipped all the basics, and don't even really know wtf I'm playing ahahaha. I just play:p I need to learn how to read music...

Nope, scripting is exactly like FireRed. Only difference is like the badge flags or one or two specials.

Haha we will probably go public eventually (when I take control muhahaha:p) JK! But yeah I will let you know man. Stupid principal shouldn't bend to the will of petty suck ups!

Yeah, but I actaully think really simplistic stuff can sond good.. It just has to be thought out better:D I really love fast/slow dynamics in songs (especially in guitar solo's!) The game idea makes perfect sense:p After all- most of the games follow the same themes, and it totally makes sense to build on the chronological order, and old charms of it's predecessors That's good you got the notebook, and are letting stuff fly:p It's always best to get the juice flowing first, then try to organize stuff later lol.

When I write poetry- I will write a few drafts of one poem; only because I am so sloppy in the formation of the poem, that it needs to be revised and revised lol.

I met two other guys up at college actually. We sat next to eachother in math. One day, admist the studious silence, we all raised our heads simultaneously and said "Let us all kick ass with musical instruments." The class was stunned at the mythical aura emanating from our trio.

Okay! So that's not exactly how it happened lol. But I did meet them in class, and we just slowly started playing more and more. We have like a new drummer every week... It's...... Awful.. LMAO. We even had this 40 some year old bongo player who was a total dick. But we still have drummers coming on again, off again. I usually start talking about creepy stuff like hanging meat from my guitar- and it scares them off. LOL.

How about you? Do you play piano with anybody? Do you and that other DJ kid tear it up together?

    Thanks lol.
Anyway, that background is really nice. The only thing that sort of irks me about it is the celbi. It looks like you're trying to get the same type of style as the FR title screen? With celebi's coloring? (I think?) Well anyways, it looks a bit odd because of how huge celebi is on the screen when he's actually a pretty small pokemon. The background is really nice though. If you could maybe change the the logo's coloring to blue or green, that would work really well too.

Also another tip: I couldn't get the press start to work well in FireRed either, so I just scrapped it and put the press start on the background (although it couldn't flash, it was better than nothing).

About the ways I used palettes on mine, Ho -Oh and the liquid nitrogen logo share one palette, and lugia and the pokemon logo share a palette. Check out dante's tutorial for an idea of how I used the 256 color palette.

Lol it's alright. Anyways, I've just been screwin around with Ruby Titlescreens. What do you think of this one?

The background was considerably hard to get to work, it uses 2 16 color palettes.

Yes, the flames move, and yes, the press start flashes.

Omg, those no good goodie toosh oo's are the ones that got all this work brought on you huh?:D well that's good you can afford to be a tad relaxed until febuary at least!

Hahaha I hope it didn't sound like I am against 4 chord progressions, 4/4 beats, etc, etc. It's just that's all our singer wants to play- Bob Dylan songs minus the epic lyrics lmao. Idk though. I tried to present some "heavier" stuff to him, and he didn't seem to thrilled We will work something out though *imagines simple chord song with crazy tapping solo*:p

One must always push their boundries!!! It's the only way we get to see our true potential:D Yeah I hope she chooses Savage 2 lol. NOT DUNBAR.

If you ever want to let someone listen to your tracks, just lemme know:D

Ah man- You will be the most kick@ss nerdy appearing DJ ever:D I don't hate Techno! It's not my fav, but I like some mixes. Plus I bet DJing would be a ball! You should address the crowd as crackers:p

The keyboard can be tricky 2... Plus you can coex alot of awesome effects outta one! Guitar is... Tedious lol. When your building up speed, it is all repetition, repetition, repetition. And lots of metronome 2! Horribly boring, but fun when you see progress! Sweep picking is actually easier than I expected, it's just I have girly wrists/forearms that need to be strengthened:p

We coukld play in public, biut I am still having alot of problems going out, etc. We have a good singer, but we suck rofl. mainly because 1. Our singer keeps wanting to play 4 chord progressions over and over, 2. I want alot more technicality, and some spunky transistions, etc, 3. The other members get stuck in what they know. I'm not trying to hate on them lol, because our Bassist probably knows alot more theory than I do, but they do not want to experiment and let loose. We have potentiol THEY JUST NEED TO START "FEELING" IT!

Haha I'm the worst band mate ever:C Idk what will happen. Hopefully we can begin to colloborate more, and get out there and tear up the local scene:p

Anyways, I'm looking foreward to seeing your performance man:D Good luck with the language test (not that you'll need it:p), and the talent show. I hope to hear many gasps and ahh's:D

Well at least you are buckling down and getting the studying done:D Good for you man! And yes- I am studying at the moment (not literally), and it is horribly boring! God I love learning, but hate studying--- How does that even work lol?:p I'm glad she is ok, and that you guys live on a hill:C That sucks for the folks getting their homes destroyed and what not; horrible stuff!

Crazy events... Well my sister is prego(nant) Lol:p Which is awful... We were discussing names, and she wants to name her kid "Dunbar".... I was like everyone will give him $hit and call hum "Dumbar" lol. But idk. I'm heading to be an uncle yet again Gira:D This time I've actually been invited in to the actual birthing process... O god I can't do it though:C

I told her she should name her kid Savage (no joke!) Haha. It would be named "Savage Sheets". As far as other craziness goes... Nothing much. Just studying, and hanging out. I'm trying to learn how to sweep pick (fluidly) on guitar. God it's annoyingly hard to do correctly!

Kill those tests man! Anything fun planned for the weekend???

Ok, but it takes VERY,VERY long and takes so many tries to get it working right. I would suggest you PM AmineX, he is the one who taught me. Explaining it would be like writing a whole new tutorial. Here is the thread Magnius was referencing to: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=118722&highlight=clonex25

Basically, open up notepad, and then open the .S file from there. Then, look at how many "lines" are in each track. For example, when you open up the .S file, you should see under "track one" that there are many "lines" and these lines are marked by "WXX". Meaning, the first line would be marked by @ 01, the second by @ 02, the third by @ 03, etc. Keep track of how many "lines" every track has"

So, let's say you count how many lines are in each track and you notice that, for example, that track 3 has the most "lines". For example, say it has 57 lines (@ 57), and all other tracks have less lines than that. In order for the looping to work, every track MUST have the same amount of lines, so you make EVERY track have 57 lines.

How would you go about doing that? Notice how under each line there are specific bytes, i.e. W12 then right under that W12 then right under that W36, etc. Under the last and final line of each track is .byte FINE. "Empty" tracks have only a ".byte W96" under them. So, if, for example, track 1 had 53 lines and you wanted to make it up to 57, make new lines in the same format that they are made in the .S file, and under each line make a .byte W96.

    @ 056 ----------------------------------------
    .byte W96

Before you make the tracks all have the same amount of lines, count how many "bytes" are under the last "line" of every track. So, for example, you notice that track 2 has the most bytes, with 72 bytes.

    @ 053 ----------------------------------------
    .byte W36
    .byte W36

So, you see how that works? You're supposed to add how many .byte WXX is under each line, so in this case I add 2 "W36s" to get the fact that there are 72 bytes under that line. So now, you need to make the last "line" of evey track have 72 bytes by adding a ".byte W72" or 2 ".Byte W32s". So, after you make every track have the same amount of LINES (in this case, 57), make the last line of every track have the same amount of BYTES (in this case, 72).

After you make every track have the same amount of "lines" and "bytes", you can add the looping part. Usually, you would want to loop every track at Track 1. In order to do that, you should add ["NAME OF TRACK"_"TRACK NUMBER"_loop:] at the beginning of each track. However, some tracks have some wierd bytes, such as .byte VOL, .byte TEMPO, etc. You need add the loop right after those wierd bytes.
For example, look how I looped track 1:

    @ 000 ----------------------------------------
    .byte TEMPO , 165*26483_tbs/2
    .byte VOICE , 24
    .byte VOL , 100*26483_mvl/mxv
    .byte N06 , Gn5 , v127

Now it's time for the final step. All you need to do as add the following at the end of every single track:

    @ 0XX ----------------------------------------
    .byte GOTO
.word "NAME OF SONG"_"NUMBER OF TRACK"_loop
    .byte W06
    @ 0XX ----------------------------------------
    .byte FINE
Right after the last track (in this case, 057) So, for track one, for example, I would do:

    @ 058 ----------------------------------------
    .byte GOTO
    .word 26483_1_loop
    .byte W06
    @ 059 ----------------------------------------
    .byte FINE

This is, of course, assuming the name of your .S file is 26483. I hope you can learn from this.

So, if you like electronic dancey music, check this link out:

I've had it as my usertitle for quite a while now, but.. well, I could do with using my blog a bit more often, haha.

That's my soundcloud. I've been playing music (piano) since I was about... five? Five. And for about four years now, I've been producing music electronically. I can play a bit of guitar/ukulele too, but...

I'm actually quite suckish at using my blog, but... I really don't care. I rarely have anything interesting to post but this is something I HAVE to write down somewhere, because it's just too weird.

So in the late 80s, my parents moved from Ireland to Canada. My siblings and I were born there, and we lived there til I finished Senior Kindergarten at age 5. We then moved back to Ireland, where we lived in the sorta suburbs. I went to school there for about two and a half years before...

Here I am with a slightly more controversial blog post. Definitely in comparison to my previous ones anyway, which have all pretty much been little notes about my life.

Anyway, with the death of Apple dude Steve Jobs a few weeks ago, and now with the recent passing of world-reknowned (have no idea if that's the correct way to say it) singer Whitney Housten at the age of 48, it's got me thinking; when it comes to celebrity deaths, there's something that really, really annoys me....

So, it's been a little while since I last posted in this little blog, and... well, I still don't really have that much interesting things to say, but oh well :P

So if it hasn't become clear by this stage, I'm a Scrubs fanatic. (How one could be anything but is totally beyond me). Most people who know me will also know that I'm quite into music in general. And so, when you cross these two fantastic things, you get...
This little gem of splendiforous wonder.

(In case the first wasn't enough to make you notice, my title's will all start in "My", like Scrubs episodes).

So yeah, yesterday I met up with my buddy DrFuji, who came to Ireland all the way from Upside-downia :) We had a pretty awesome day, which consisted of much walking around, then sitting down, then walking around some more. It was odd to talk about the things we usually talk about, but in person :P

So a fair bit happened during the day. We got some food...
