I have the PC version due to it being the cheapest and that I wanted the convenience of a laptop. I think the Wii U is probably the best version due to the gamepad functions.

They complicated things in Gen IV to be honest, they focus too much on the 3D aspect.
What if the 2D graphics from GBA were used in place of those 3D environments, would it make the fourth gen go faster?

I also don't like the Pokemon following you, I'm with you on this one. Prior to the HGSS's release when screenies were shown, I thought the following feature was optional or exclusive to Johto starters... Shh! We have to be quiet about this, lotta people love this feature that much! lol

Gen III is beautiful the way it is. If I really have to hate, it's the pixel sprites. I personally love the smoother sprites in Gen IV and V. But considering that's the limit of GBA I shouldn't call it hate, more like slightly dislike.

I'm skeptical about RSE remakes, because mainly the fps problem of Gen VI. I mean Gen III holds the highest and best frame rate for more than 10 years already, and that record is still going on!
If they are going to remake it in Gen VI, the overall fps must be at least on par or even better, if not it's like a degrade to RSE.

Secondly they changed the portrait of characters like Morty, I'm not saying GSC Morty is better than the HGSS one or vice versa. It was just like he totally became a different person to me(official artwork or in game). :/

Thirdly they changed the BGM of several areas, like Slowpoke Well, Cinnabar Islands and some other areas, when it was not that necessary. The new BGM remixes like the Goldenrod City are actually good, but they sounded different -- gives a different feeling, whereas in FRLG even though the pitch was higher, they felt the same then before.

    Ohohohoho! *immitate Fantina's laugh*
I'm not gonna talk about my opinion about ost,
because RSE has the best, all ost scores 10 out of 10. (Hahaha, such bias opinion lol)

There are Gen III fans screaming out for RSE remakes for Gen VI,
however I disagree.(I will ellaborate on next reply.)
Please share your opinion whether you agree or not!

I'm with you and Fiery that Gen III was the best...now if only it had been possible to transfer then Gen III may now be seen in the same light by the majority of fans like Gen II is...
I think a lot of people like Gen III Pokémon's designs, most don't complain about them unlike with Gen IV, Gen V, and Gen I's are often seen as plain by fan who joined later.

I don't really think that people hated the designs that much or at least not nowadays.
Because the colors are more vibrant and complicated, so they couldn't take it that much.
As we both agreed on, it was a huge leap from GBC to GBA.
Plus the absence of their old favorites.

    Being a self-proclaimed Water-type expert,
I actually did not hate that abundant sea waters,
it is one of my favorites from RSE till these days.

All of the above reason garnered hatred to RSE.
    But with FrLg released,
those hatred emotions towards Gen III game mechanics, Gen III Pokemon have loosen quite a bit,
    don't you think so?

A toast to Gen III my friend!

I don't mind it, we're humans after all, we have our interests, own opinions etc...
You're being critical bc you ha e high expectation.
In my opinion, Gen III reached the peak in terms of game mechanic(counts in frame rate as well),
That was the generation with biggest change, it was a big revamp for the series!

I'm gonna ask you your opinions soon when you buy XY.
Hearing that low fps turns me away from Gen VI,
as I said earlier 'The lesson of Gen IV games.' Lol

I still think that they sped up the video,
I once saw a DP trailer from Youtube,
seeing Chimchar using Flamethrower at least as fast as from Gen III.

Remember "game footage not final" lol

It is interesting to note that the Aerial Ace in this video looked faster than the latest footage,
you may watch it when you have faster connection.

Yveltal using Hyper Beam, the video was seemed cut for a secs so I won't count it .
Look at Sylveon using her first move, it seemed fast enough for me.

Ah I didn't know that every DS games have 30 fps,
thank you so much I learnt something new!
But is it because that is the limit?
Or more like because of DS couldn't handle 3D.
Either way, that explains why Triple battles and Rotation always lags for the first few seconds.
At least the battles in Gen V are smoother and faster than Gen IV!
The Zenithia triology remakes of Dragon Quests are faster than Pokemon's frame rates,
in terms of OW moving and battles. GF should learn a lot of things from SE!

I'm guessing OW actions in XY are at least on par with Gen V's. Base on the Aerial Ace, Hyper Beam and Sylveon clips I saw from the official trailers, the battles should be at least in 60 fps! But who knows maybe Nintendo/GF sped up the video for a bit!
