    1. Your hospitals and doctors will not change. If this is implemented, you will still see the SAME DOCTOR you see now. Your medication doesn't have to change.

    2. Since the only thing changing is how health care is funded (since it'll still be private at the "user" level), what disorders you have will affect NOTHING. You will still get the SAME level of treatment as anyone else. They won't take your disorder any less seriously.

    3. When it's "universal" health care, it literally means for EVERYONE. I don't know where you're getting the idea that they won't give you health care. Honestly, you're describing how it is NOW where insurance companies will deny care and funding if they don't think you deserve it. That would never happen with universal health care.

    4. It won't be your last appointment unless under a new system you decide never to go to a doctor again. Under the new system, it would be absolutely free to see a doctor.

    Omg PLEASE do some research. I'm pretty damn sure no one anywhere said anything about forced abortions. As for "end of life counselling"... do you even know what that is?? It's not people coming in to force euthanasia on you, it's to prepare the elderly for the inevitable. ie, they'll come talk to them about living wills (so that their next of kin and lawyers aren't totally without direction), tell them about options to make their final months/years/however long more comfortable (ie, moving into a hospice or something similar), and other things like that. It'll help them make HEALTHY CHOICES so that as they grow older and frailer, they don't have to deal with so much stress and so many worries. idk what you thought it was but if it was anything bad, get that out of your head. o_O; You may not like the government that's in right now but they DO have the peace and health of every US citizen in mind. I have no idea wtf you're talking about with electricity and oil, nor what it has to do with this. (But considering many other countries have similar health systems to the one you guys are planning and they get along just fine with electricity bills and the like, I think you're worrying over ridiculous things.)

    I've honestly not been paying too much attention to the US's stimulus package because I've been paying more mind to Canada's economy but... honestly, the way I see it, you guys are already trillions in debt--I don't see how going a bit more into debt for something that will be MUCH CHEAPER in the long run is a bad thing. It's like more stimulus except it's actually gonna benefit every American citizen. :|

    The US already spends the MOST on health care out of EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD... and if other countries can give free health care to all its citizens for less cost, obviously we're doing something right. The US doesn't even have the best health care system, either, so you guys are srsly doing something wrong as it is now, imo.

    And... lol where did you hear that? :( methinks you need to find some non-conservative news outlets to get an unbiased source. Whether or not that even happened, something got jumbled along the way, I'm sure of it.

    Well, I don't *know* because I'm not the one that drafted this new system but if it's anything like the universal systems in basically every other first-world country, then it's not going to be what all these people are whining about. It'll simply be a free, fair system that every citizen has access to. Health care reform is going to take time and I'm sure the reason we haven't seen a step-by-step outline of what's going to happen is because the details haven't been hammered out yet and, honestly, even if he released it I bet most citizens wouldn't even read it. (They're too content to listen to the shock media.)

    Like, I'm not sure what kind of picture you've painted in your head about health care but... honestly, socialized health care is amazing! What do you mean when you say you'll be a "target"? That makes... zero sense to me. ._.;

    I know your family has to have insurance but... what if you guys couldn't afford your insurance? Suddenly, your medication and doctor visits would get REALLY expensive. Like, astronomically so. (Did you know a full physical at a doctor's office can range anywhere from $100 to $500??) Now think of aaaaall the people in your country who have your problem(s) that don't have access to the same medication that you do simply because they can't afford to go to the doctor to get the prescription (let alone buy the medication itself). :( They can't even head to the doctor to ask about alternative treatments. That doesn't sound fair at ALL to me and I can't fathom how anyone thinks that system works. Here, everyone has access to the same treatments and while medication isn't free, that's where the supplementary drug plans or extra insurance comes in from employers.

    Honestly I have yet to hear ANY good reason not to have socialized health care.

    Can't watch YT vids right now (I'm at work) but glanced at the title of that one and... all I've heard about these "town hall" meetings is that they're being ridiculously overblown and half the things that protestors are whining about are the results of misinformation.

    :( There is *no way* the USA could put in a universal health care system that would deny care. That defeats the entire point. If anything, a universal system will make things FAIRER for EVERYONE by making sure every US citizen gets the same chance at being treated.
