Yea it was doing that to me last night also!! I was SO close to giving up on Trapinch. I ended up getting him to like 200, but it didn't work so I had to try again. Again there were large numbers but I finally got it down to 300-something, and thats when I got him.

You know, I wonder if RNG is still a 50/50 chance. Because when you get to the lists on the reporter, and right click it for the number of taps and coins. That list tells you the nature and gender percent. But there's also a column that says "Heads" or "Tails" I think in order for the shiny to work, you might need to land on either heads or tails-whichever it says that it requires. Because I know for sure I did everything right, but it hatched as a nonshiny. I think I got tails when it said in the column heads.... and the second time when I got the shiny, the column said heads, and I got heads on the coin flip.

I could be way wrong, but I really don't know why it said heads/tails in that column, or why it didnt work on my first try.

Oh I almost forgot! About that chinchilla Pokemon, I have a story about it. A few weeks ago my parents were playing those Facebook games-Treasure Isle and Farmville. And the game released a Chinchilla that you could put on your island and farm. As soon as I saw it I'm like "awww, it's so cute and it looks like it could be a Pokemon! They should totally make a chinchilla Pokemon!!!"

So I'm also kinda weirded out that I in a way, predicted the chinchilla pkmn. It looks exactly how I imagined a chinchilla pokemon should look to. freaky.....
