    lol but i guess it will grow once i start making more tools. i just found out a LOT (x5) of hex values that i can use in my tools. swampert, would you mind me "borrowing" the basic layout of your pokedit dp? i'm wanting to make one for crystal/gold/silver, and possibly fr/lg.

    I don't know how to make things dissappear/reappear, but how about enabling/deenabling a listbox when the user clicks something? Set both listboxes to enabled = False in their properties, then when the user clicks the required thing,

    listbox.enabled = True

    Its that simple!

    Then to grey it out again:

    listbox.enable = False

    Easy eh?

    got another one. lol. do you know how i would hide a listbox if the user clicks a certain thing, and add another at the same time?

    Well you need to Read Hex where the header is, and store it to a variable, its different in every generation of ROM, so open them up in a HEX editor and see where it says which ROM it is, usually in the first line...

    As for editing a listbox's contents with IFs, I haven't been able to figure this out yet, but I'll let you know if I do. If you're familiar with Torrent programs, then search for them in there. Its the easiest way to get a ROM and emulator...

    so what command/function/text would i put in the code to return the header?

    YoMama the Crystal Developer. That's got a ring to it. Although I do want to make some things for advance games too.

    yeah, the size would go from like 300kb to around 5mb real quick. oh well.

    two more questions - one, how can i edit the contents of a listbox with an If statement? what is the array that holds the list options? and, do you know of a good ds emulator? right now i'm using visual boy advance, and that's good for everything up to d/p. also do you know of a place to download the d/p roms?

    lol i guess it doesn't matter how good i get. i still always seem to have questions.

    Good job man, I am sure it will help a lot of people out! Well, I am not to sure about images, as I never bother to include things like that, as it would send the size of the download WAY up, think about it, 251 images added into the program. A lot of space... Thanks for the credit by the way, it's nice to get a shout lol! A wild pokemon editor for Crystal would be good, go for it, theres not much point making one for G/S though as GoldMap already changes this. But Crystal would be useful. You could be YoMama the Crystal developer eh?

    To make it universal, you have to read the header of the ROM, then tell the program what to d for each header. Basically, you can do it with ReadHEX, then store the returned value as a string...

    sure man. here it is -
    http://fs02n3.sendspace.com/dl/15294...Editor.exe.zip

    also, one more question (i know, it seems like they never stop coming. lol) i was wondering if there is any way to dynamically change an image according to user input (e.g. the user chooses bulbasaur so a bulbasaur picture appears)

    i also credited you and darthatron in the program.

    i'm going to start on a wild pokemon editor for crystal, and try to make it universal. but to make it universal, i need to know what ROM the user chose (e.g. Pokemon Gold.gbc), and i'm not sure how to do this.
