    Many kids are working as soon as they reach the legal age to work (which is 14 or 15), so they may ask about prior experience. Have you taken a Careers class of some sort?

    Self-doubt leads to nowhere, as I have told Joe. It will only hinder my progress as I refuse to make them because of my doubts.

    You don't show it often, or at least you're not annoyed by many things. XD

    I tripped twice in one day on that day when I did my Mock Trials presentation (which, again, wasn't good enough for me to make the team). Bad day for sure. ;

    I hear it at least three times a semester in Math class, and it'll be a different person each time. Math can get confusing at times, but like Einstein said: "Do not worry about your mathematical troubles, for I assure you mine are always greater."

    I was pretty proud of myself for getting done what I had. XD I have until Tuesday to finish it, which should be plenty of time. However, I don't plan to work on Monday (since I have a Bio test on Tuesday), so I'll finish it up tomorrow. Shouldn't be too much of a deal.
    Yep, Code Geass and Bleach are two of the most popular anime out there. Just look at this list and see what I mean. Both seasons of Code Geass and Bleach made the first page. Clannad is on the page after. Nana, eh? It's somewhat famous, but not as much as the others. It's very well received, though.
    Eh, I should be able to tell after my suggestions to you. ;P

    Hehe, cute? I don't know. I guess. XD
    Yep, I'm planning to get a Code Geass theme. However, it's tough to find a non-perverted picture of a character since they're all drawn to be beautiful people. ;

    Thanks, Mist. ^^ I'm going to have to ace an interview; something I'm bad at, since I don't work too well under pressure. If they ask me about prior work experience...well, I'm pretty much screwed. I'm going to ask my Bio teacher about it on Monday about the nature of the work. He's been reminding me about it, so I think he would be interested in helping me in this pursuit.

    We are the one controlling our thoughts and actions; we could be our best friend or our most prolific enemy. It's entirely our choice.

    It is. I tried to remain vigilant about it, but it's bothered me to the point that I had to tell people to stop.
    Well, at least you fixed it. That's all that matters.

    It mostly snows at night for me, but sometimes it snows when I'm walking home, which is always a bliss. The worst situation for me is strong wind, snow turned to ice, and no snow. It's like tripping madness.

    It's just the nature of their studies and general interest of the students. Kids would be interested in a language, and the teacher having gotten this far has dedicated quite a lot of her time to her work, so she must at least like her work. It's a pretty positive atmosphere. However, in a math class, the total disinterested reactions from the kids and the oh-so-often heard question "When are we ever going to use this?" makes it tough to be fun.

    I'm almost done, actually. I just have to ask a person something, then I'd have everything translated, visuals done, and I'm all set...however, I could have done much more in that time. .-.
    Yep. I haven't started it, actually, since I've been dabbling in some other animes, most recently Code Geass. Since I'm too lazy to type, here's a summary.

    Pretty good, I guess. I had it for a while since I acquired the name Miniryu (which is the Japanese name for Dratini), but then the new year came and I thought it was time for change. I haven't had another theme since then besides this avatar. I love this picture of Sunohara; it captures his fun loving but likable spirit for me.

    Seeing as how I'm older than you are, I have less of an excuse to hold off a job. Besides, this job in particular could be a great opportunity for me if I can get it; I can pretty much become an assistant for a research for a professor at my local university (which I plan to attend ever since I found out how great its science department was). It's not advertised, and my teacher is asked by the research staff to select his best students as candidates, so I'm very happy that he talked to me about it. It also involves genetics which I'm quite interested in. If I don't get it (which I probably won't, since incoming seniors aren't in-demand; rather, they want graduating seniors), I can re-apply next year with a better chance.

    Haha, yes, we're all victims of our own will...and we're also the lethargic tyrants of our own world.

    No, it's not just you. People might think that it's something I like to be called but only denying it, but they're wrong. I absolutely hate that nickname; it's juvenile, it's disrespectful, and it's condescending.
    That would be much appreciated, thanks.

    Well, alrighty, then. Just know that the Apollonian ways of taking things in moderation is the way of society nowadays.

    I think you did mention it once, actually. I like a cool breeze too; I'd like it much better than a warm day. I can understand the family part, though. My family doesn't like snow at all (and with good reason), but I just love walking while it's snowing.

    Sounds like the kind of teacher that I wouldn't want to be under the care of. And that also describes my Latin teacher, who is one of my favorites of all time (actually, all three of my Latin teachers were awesome). She's a very laidback person, always has something interesting to say, and can relate to us kids. She's intent on holding no double-standards; she only holds us to what she was in her youth, which she claimed was a "complete slacker," so sometimes we get a good extension on what we're due. Latin is never boring for me, and I think the language itself attracts a crowd that I'd want to hang out with, seeing how I got along great with all my Latin classmates.

    Well good luck with your chores now and in the future, Mist. I have a Latin project to finish, so I'm determined to not be on too much this weekend. I've been putting off Aria's second season for a new anime called Mushi-shi lately. I don't need you to try it out, though, since it doesn't seem like your sort of anime. It's relaxing, but also mysterious and mythical. Seeya later, then.

    Well, at least we're in the same boat. ^^; I'll try again this summer to definitely stick to a schedule. With a potential job, it'll be something I have to do.

    Sad fact of life, or just something that we aren't working hard enough at?

    If you look to the VM below you, you'll notice something familiar. Ahem.

    No, they all turn out creepy, trust me. In a way, I'm sort of like the teacher from Zetsubou sensei, though I only pretend to shake my fists in the air and forcefully shout my melancholies at nothing.

    I do; however, the frequency has dropped ever since the temperature got coler. Even before, I don't go outside and exercise everyday, especially with school.

    I have come in contact with this new teacher, however (I come into his classroom for 2nd period, which he has for 1st). The main complaint that his voice is tough to hear, he speaks too quietly and monotone are confirmed to be true. As well, he never looks too jolly. But I don't know, I've never had a conversation with him. We'll see.

    Well, you never know. Just try and set up a schedule and follow through. I personally don't have the perseverance to uphold a schedule that is to my liking because I'm not as efficient a worker as I'd like to believe, but had I stuck with it, I'd probably be better off. Good luck, Mist.

    Eh, but it's an impossibility anyhow. Besides, developing effective communication skills is a part of human life and not something that should be contemplated over; it has to be done. And that's one of the thing that I dislike about myself; I have horrible communications skills in real life, and even on here I'm often misunderstood because I've failed to get across a point. And in any case, I can't control my passions, which is another thing. Technically, you can declare that you're taking back something you said with something like "I digress." Before typing (and even writing), humans have spoken, and that's something that will be done until the end of humanity; might as well get used to it.

    If you look closely, I've only paraphrased my current situation, and nothing more. However, nobody calls me Miniryu. They either say Minijordy (ex. Went and Pink Supervisor), Jordy (ex. Natsu, Oppy, Baromega, Wish, the WOFZ crowd), or Jordan (ex., jpp8, Joe, Code, you). Do take notice which name has the most users.

    However, if that transpires over the real life, it's just plain creepy...

    I'm not an outdoorsman at all. I view the outdoor life through a computer screen. o3o;

    I perform best with a teacher I like is what I've found out; luckily for me, I've found common ground with most of my teachers, even ones I seemingly dislike their teaching styles. Even though my English teacher is described as a nightmare by pretty much all his past students, I hope I can get to like him.
