Well, the new school part, I've transferred twice in the past year because of my dad's jobs. Texas to Tennessee to Canada. You'd be surprised how many people would do that much just on their own, though. An ordinary Ivy League student would have already completed far more hours than that upon graduation, with perfect GPAs and loads of other extra-curriculars. glad for Canada's policy regarding university admissions: Scores only, with an 80+ almost guaranteeing admission.

Yea, I'm pretty convinced. I was like how the heck did he turned 17!?. But, I was right when I asked him why he changed his age. And it was based on his theme.

IB = International Baccalaureate (blah, I had to use spell check for the second word). Know about Advanced Placement high school courses? Well, this is kind of like that...but on crack. The classes are brutal with a grading system arbitrary to those outside of the system, with a required 150 hours of community service activities prior to receiving the diploma. Because it's a planned curriculum developed through international co-operation (hence, International Baccalaureate), the diploma is recognized by universities worldwide for student admission.
My dad was interested in enrolling me for the program, but there weren't any schools around that offered it, so I'm enjoying an ordinary public education.

Chances are, my lazy butt will drag itself onto the computer and force me to be on PC as always ;P Irregardless, my schedule isn't anywhere near as rigorous as an IB candidate's (ex. Silvy), so I'll still be on more often than her nonetheless. I hope I learn something from all this.

Yeah, that's TelstraClear for you. Other broadband providers will just slow you down to dialup speed, but they make you pay all over again. When you reach 80% (ie 8Gb within the time period), they send an email notifying you, and it says 'We will try to send you another email if you reach 10Gb.' How comforting.

And I agree, I hate exams. Not because of the pressure or anything, but I always just end up studying a whole bunch of crap I don't need and forgetting what I do need as a result. It doesn't help that I'm a year ahead in half of my classes.

Well, if we go over the 10Gb/month, then they charge us another $12 for another 10Gb, even if we only go over by a couple of bytes. It doesn't toll over either, which sucks, because if we do go over, it's always with only a couple of days left on the term. So then I just go hard-out for those few days. =P

My holidays finish this week, so back to school and exams for me.

Grounded from my headphone for until who knows when, w00t! That's fine with me, though, since now I'll have motivation to be less...procrastinating. I just figured out my school's curriculum: very little homework, very little gradings except for quizzes and examinations, but the students have to learn for themselves. Thought I had an easier semester this semester since homework's far and few in between...guess not. This means I'll be on shorter than usual from now on.

Heheh. =) I'm on school holidays now, so I could probably manage if I wanted to, but I won't. I'm trying to keep the broadband usage below 10Gb, XD.

Excellent. I'll definitely watch the rest of it, then.
