Hey, there. This may sound odd, but I seen a bit of your conversation with Patchisou Yutohru and how you didn't plan on getting an extremely good job, but what was the word you used? I'm kind of in the same situation right now. I want to be a gaming journalist.

I would feel a lot better about this if I had actually planned to take a few years off of school, or if I had spent these past two years doing something to further myself. If I was able to get a job throughout that time, then I would feel a lot better, but I didn't get one. I guess that's my own fault for being so selective for a while, but even when I was less selective, the most I would get was an interview.

What sucks is that I'm not where I should be. I should be entering Junior year this coming Fall and now I'll only be a Freshman with 3 credits, and that just pisses me off so much.

One of my biggest fears in high school was falling behind where I should be, and that happened during Sophomore year because of some things going on that made me decide to take classes online, but I was considered a Junior for some reason when Junior year started. I spent Junior year catching up and making up things I had to do for Sophomore year. I just don't like not being where I should be.

I've pretty much wasted two years of my life that I'm not going to get back.

Returned home and applied for community college just to get credits to apply for when I went back.
Was too late to apply for Fall courses when I got back from the college I was attending.
Registered for an online Art History class for the Spring semester. (Spring 2011)
In the meantime, I grew interested in another college that I applied and was accepted to as well.
Postponed going there because we didn't have enough money to attend.
Registered for fall classes at community college. (Fall 2011)
Didn't have enough money for books when Fall semester rolled around. Dropped courses. Little to my knowledge, I owed them money. The total amount I owed them was more than the books cost. ****ed myself over and now I can't continue going there in the meantime. (November 2011)
Submitted my re-admit form to the college I was at beforehand. (December 2011)
Was re-admitted. (December 2011)
Planned on going back for Spring 2012, but didn't have enough money to cover both my tuition and books, so had to stay home. (Jan 2012)
Found Neumont and grew interested in going there. (February 2012)
Started an application and I'm on the final parts of it now. I just need to finish my essay for it and send in my transcripts.

And I looked at that test drive before. The online environment there looks cool.

I took a few classes online in high school, and I took one course online for college. All of the courses I took apart from English, I don't remember anything I learned. Though I did better at those classes than when I took classes for them in a classroom setting, I didn't form any lasting memories of what I had been taught.
