On a normal RSE playthrough I'll have Swampert, Swellow, Mightyena and 3 others but I've never used a Manectric personally as I rarely use electric types but I'm intrigued to try it now. I might possibly do a "Ones That Got Away" challenge and use Manectric as one of my choices.
That's actually some really good advice, and I'll almost certainly give Hariyama both of those moves, hopefully it will help me throughout this playthrough haha!

Yeah that makes sense actually, just on a randomized run I forget about how few Pokémon are in each area. I'm so annoyed at myself, I was so careless against Norman and misjudged how heavy Slaking was. I had a Makuhita/Hariyama in each of my previous Ruby Nuzlocke's and they died in the Elite Four each time. They always took hits very well and could do a lot of damage but they always seemed a little slow. I need to be extra careful now because four deaths with only 5 badges gotten is a poor record. I really need to grind Makuhita a lot, Grumpig is incredible so far, so easy to level up too. I'm hoping on getting lucky in New Mauville and getting someone who compliments the rest of the team well

I always get sick of training haha, always risky being underlevelled on a Nuzlocke though! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your Emerald one also, I recommend using the Duplicate clause because the amount of Zigzagoon's I got on my original Ruby one was infuriating haha

Just seen your recent post on the Nuzlocke thread, to beat Red with a team of level 60's is nothing short of incredible!
