Well, Konami is a terrible company. : (

They're going to screw up the market (AGAIN) so hard by reprinting PoDs in a $20 tin... That's pretty brutal. (This is confirmed : x)

They need to learn not to print progressively more OP cards.

    I wish the deck guaranteed a win. : s

It's just a powerful deck that has a decent chance against all tier 1 decks in the hands of the skilled player. Plants are the least auto-pilot-y tier 1 deck; if I wanted to play an autopilot deck I would be playing a good Six Samurai build. ._.; Which are, unfortunately, tier 1 (skill-less at best ).

But see: if you bring a tier 3 deck (that wasn't tooled properly to have enough power) you're GUARANTEED to be crushed by someone running a tier 1 deck (if they have any idea of what they are doing). YGO as a game is in such a terrible spot right now that I know I will have a decent chance of losing if someone brings an even remotely powerful deck into the tournament and that someone knows their metagame well enough if I were to play a theoretically terrible deck. Even the slightest inconsistencies screw up games. I knew that my deck was the correct choice when I faced Six Samurai in round 1 and Tengu Plants in round 3.

    When faced with a tier 1 deck, you know that they can simply lucksack for the win UNLESS they are faced with a similarly powerful deck. Hence my faithlessness in the game's state. -sigh- This happened last year, I believe... I got lucksacked really hard. ._.;

I thought you were going to run Plants, honestly. : o

I wasn't TOO far off.. your deck was just less robust than I expected.

As for the rigged part... Yeah well : (. I wanted to win, and I assumed OTHER people wanted to win, so I brought the best deck I could bring. Turns out I was right in my assumption.

If they run Junk Synchron and Doppelwarrior, it's Junk Doppel. If they run Junk Synchron and Debris Dragon (and the previous is not true), it's Junk and Debris. If they run Debris Dragon only (and the previous two are not true) it's Tengu Plants.

No matter what it's called... It's the same decktype I'm running (Plants). Except mine is probably a lot more fine-tuned than their decks are. : ( Heck Firestar ran Tytannial (which is not very good).

It's vying for the spot of best deck in the TCG format right now, against Agent Angels. The latter actually has an amazing matchup against this deck, buuuuut I didn't think anyone was going to run Agent Angels and that deck just makes people mad. : x

I predicted that Firestar and Inferuno no Tsunami (his Japanese is all wrooooong D : - imo it should be katakana on both sides or kanji on both sides AND it needs to be 'to', not 'no', because Tsunami of the Inferno makes little sense and Tsunami AND the Inferno makes more sense, but it's personal opinion really) would run some competitive deck or other - like decently competitive, and I didn't want to stake my chances on the prototype WATER troll-Synchro deck (Shooting Quasars up the wazoo, etc) so I went with this deck. : s

What decks did you play against? : (

Generally tier 3 decks that aren't powerful (i.e. Naturia) get stomped on hard by opposing tier 2/superior decks. This can be remedied if there is a large skill margin between the players but generally that is the case. : x

Card quality and all that. D :

After many deaths and losses that weren't really necessary, I have ended up with, after 5 badges,

GERALD the Feraligatr, Lv30, TAYLOR the Ampharos, lv31, and WILL the Togetic Lv32. All very awesome pokemon, Togetic knowing Hyper Beam and Return with it's Extrasensory which single-handedly swept Morty, Taylor needs a better special electric move but still awesome, and Feraligatr with Dark, Ice, and Water coverage.

Damn.

Deaths have been many, along with...

So Kelsy the Lapras basically kicked Giovanni's gym in the butt and we were ready for Victory Road. But first, RIVAL.

...So easy.

Victory Road was easy, and we stopped at the end, healed up from the E4 center, and grinded. But then, ofc, my stupid self has to ruin everything. I hadn't fought a trainer and decided to do so, sending out Kelsy. He/she has some fire type, possibly Arcanine, and I surf it. He has like -1 hp and ends up OHKOing Kelsy with OVERHEAT or something......

Alright, so I've decided to start out with:

Because he is my least favorite starter/I never use him/Wartortle's tail intruiges me.

So far I've:
-Recieved my male Squirtle, named him Fletcher
-Battled my rival
-Grinded.

My Team so far:

Fletcher, male, Lv. 9.
