Okay, my username doesn't actually have a definition, although that does describe me quite well. Plus, anytime I get a chance to use 'curmudgeon' in a sentence, I'll take it. Oh, my biography. Right.
It all started many years ago on a cold, wintery night. It was the 9th evening of January, and an 8 pound, 3 ounce baby had just been brought into this world. Though he was unaware of what was to come, little Brendan was destined to-

What's that? It's asking what I enjoy rather than what extra money I'm accruing? Stupid English and it's complexity...
What I'm interested in, though, is sports. Other than basketball (which I don't like, for some reason), I either watch or partake in most any sport you can think of, but hockey is by far the #1 on my list. Maybe it's the Canadian blood running through my veins, but I'd rather win the Stanley Cup than find the cure for cancer (fun fact: 96% of Canadians ride their moose to school or work. Mine's named Taqukaq). I'm also a big fan of video games. Being a sports nut as previously mentioned, I primarily play sports games, but I can pick up other genres and still have fun. Just don't make me play a first-person shooter, unless you want to see me throw my controller through the window.
Oh yeah, and I like Pokémon. Who woulda thunk... a guy on a Pokémon forum likes Pokémon. Weird. - Location

Last year, (well actually, it was only about an hour before the New Year in my time zone) I was casually browsing PokeCommunity like I had many a night before. I don’t know what exactly prompted it, but I decided that I was going to look up two things. The first would be where I ranked in terms of most posts on PC. Y'know, when I first signed up for the PokéCommunity nearly 5 years ago, I would have never believed that I would get to 1,000 posts. I've joined many a forum on the web, and while I've done a lot of lurking on those different sites, I'd wager I never posted more than 500 times on all of them combined (and trust me, there have been quite a few). But with that being said, on Wednesday I finally hit that milestone mark. Personally, I'm a big fan of post quality over quantity, but even I can't ignore...
