I've been busy correcting the odd tile errors I've been finding, and movement permissions. Newest one I found was a connecting fence behind trees where one chunk was missing behind one tree in Bramboch; just reinserted that. Already fixed movement flags in Inhore, Central, Marfeny Lake, Esmereld Gym, and Pantem. Fixed a tree on 407. Lots of tile errors and I'm only en route to the third Gym. Nothing you did to cause them; I know you weren't doing tile work, but I literally walk over the entire map photographing it because the AdvanceMap view is nothing pretty. LMAO
Not sure if a future beta can be made from my fixes once I finish the game (as a player), but might be considerable.
I know what you mean :D
I actually spend a lot of time doing the hacking work, then test if the complicated scripts work and possibly fix them and progress with the gameplay of my hack at the same time when I'm making it. Then again, I spend only a little amount of time playing anything else.
Hi, going to reply to your comment on Dark Future thread here.
If you haven't tested it out yet, you should play through Beta 3.1 because it will take a long time to complete the hack. Brightbulb City is pretty far in the game itself (where the beta ends) and you can expect more than 10 hours of gameplay without speeding it up and there are lots of unique events in this hack you won't see in other pokemon games.
So yeah, test it out and post feedback later on how it was
For the male Johto hero, I prefer to call him Ethan since Gold is a fan nickname and coincidentally my name. If I make a ROM Hack with him in it his name will be Ethan. Although I would like to see a ROM Hack on Pokecommunity with Ethan and Lyra in it.
