What we need to be working on is TPZ. I mean, I think about 2 weeks with no new posts is too inactive. Ideas?

Oh dear, that's why I've been making so many patches for my most recent hack, so even if I made my hack asplode, I'd only lose about a week's worth of work. I learned my lesson big time from Pokemon Jupiter, that's why S:TFG doesn't have any major bugs yet. I also posted it as early as possible in production to reduce that risk, so people can play the early patches extensively so I don't overlook a serious glitch.

I really don't know how I could help you... was it a modification of the original game's code? If you copy the original game's ASM (all of it) it will get all the offsets defaulted. The trick though... is knowing what is ASM and what's not. That's easier to do in a Tile Editor but most people don't know how to use a Tile Editor - I can read what's ASM in Pokemon just by looking at it. So if that's the issue I could fix that too.

But really, I don't want you to just quit! It looked great. I mean, for something that could be fixed with just that much knowledge.

If that's the case, you're in a better situation than you might think. If its your ASM then just take a backup (A-Map makes them a lot, and even if you don't have a formal backup a patched rom can also do) and just copy-pasta from a hex editor. Really.

But if you don't, you can extract a lot of information from the screwed over rom. Or, even better, you could just locate what ASM code you screwed over and repoint it elsewhere.

Heard about your crashed Pokemon Earth rom. Mind telling me what you did to crash it? I might be able to help you out.
