If you think your hack is good, then that's enough. Make what you think is good, because you can't please everybody.

That's where I disagree. Positive reception is always nice but public opinion shouldn't dictate a hack. If I include something in my hack that is important to me, it doesn't matter if everyone bashes that decision. I'll still go through with it because I want to.

Sorry, I wasn't clear about the story based thing. I meant to say it's one of the few hacks I like because of the gameplay rather than story. I didn't mean the game itself isn't story based, I meant I liked it for reasons other than the story.

Also, I could be wrong, but I believe the mods allow hacks to be posted based on forum rules and the post's complience with regulations, not the hack itself. I don't think they'd reject posting a new hack based on their opinion of the hack itself.

Well there are Super Rising Thunder , Hyetology, and I can remember Alignment having some threads out there which felt pretty decent. But I guess that pretty much sums it, in my personal opinion at least.

Well yeah, that's partly true as well. It's almost impossible to make a graphically decent looking hack/game if you hadn't done any kind of mapping stuff before. Then again, it won't help one bit if all you do is stuck with creating simple events without trying anything new and challenging.

I didn't say Light Platinum was better than hacks with great stories. I meant it was one of my favorites that isn't story based. Like I said, my opinion doesn't reflect everyone else's opinion so I can't say why it's this popular. Your opinion is yours; if you don't like it, that's your opinion. We can't all agree to like the same thing.

One more thing: a reason you quit is because of people's opinions? I already said your hack is dedicated to you. Who cares about what people think? Make what you want to make.

You should try them someday. But really, the current version of Pokemon Prism is probably the best pokemon hack out there. Not because it's a hack of gen II but the fact that Koolboyman is an extremely skilled game programmer, no other content in the forum comes even close to the asm hacks Prism hacks, expect for Jambo's 649 patch I believe.

Most of the other hackers out here don't even have a simple idea of what they're actually doing; they're just messing around with tools trying to come up with something new. It sounds kind of rude to say it like that but it's the truth.

I don't quite remember what that was but it wasn't anything worth saying really so I planned, no I don't want others to see me talking like that so I went to delete it myself.

I guess it had something to do with that post of yours saying "I can't hack anymore but please me one more thing, do at least one hack worthy of playing or similar.".

Well, what I probably wrote here is that have you ever played Prism, or my Dark Energy? So yeah... totally pointless "****". But the truth is, those two are exceptionally good, and I'm not bluffing any way even though the other one is a hack of mine.

All new graphics, fair or unedited maps, fighting against Team <Renamed> and 100 unoriginal Fakemon?

I used to have a funny quote about that in my signature but I lost it

Yeah, but he didn't kill them. Kind of a big difference. And also, almost every mass shooting has been done with an assault rifle. But ANYWAY Pokecommunity isn't really a great place to debate this lawl.

It's not the same. You can't kill 26 people with a knife. Or even a handgun.

Thanks. And yet, there's still people who think getting rid of semi-automatic assault rifles is ridiculous. Because you totally need one of those for hunting (you don't) or stopping an intruder in your house (major overkill so, you don't). Why the **** are those legal again? There's a difference between "gun control" and "illegalizing weapons that were only meant for war in the first place." /ENDRANT

Eh, I always thought Snakewood was kinda dumb because zombies are really overused. Plus most maps didn't seem very edited, and when I saw someone stream it he was bored the whole time xD (meanwhile he loved Awesome Version (but that game had a lot of references this community wouldn't get too)).

Like, you know Fatal, your rival? He's real. He used to be real MLG, and if you know how those people act... Everything he says in Awesome is a near direct quote, translated to Pokemon. Man, that game was nice and short, spot-on, fun to make (2Awesome and Hyetology ehhhh) and hilarious... *reminisces*

I know, in fact a lot of people aren't including him, that's why I said it lawl. I want Mechamon because every other hack that's getting votes shouldn't be HotY
