Hi! lol. And no worries, I'm not a big enough fan of the series to be that judgmental!
I don't even remember why exactly Homecoming was so well-hated -- my father and I enjoyed playing to together, up until the end when he was too low on ammo and healers to keep going and we realized we'd have to start over. And then my 360 fried and I haven't replaced it with a PC copy yet.
Though I think the devs forgot it's even on PC, it hardly ever goes below its $40 price tag. Ouch.
SH2 was my favorite in the series, as it was for many fans - so maybe it's more that you were just saving the best for last! ;p
SH3, though, I think 3 kind of requires basic knowledge of the 1st game to play? Maybe not necessarily required but it would help if story is important to you. 3 was a direct sequel to the first game, whereas 2 had its own little side story going on.
SH2 has a great story though; it was SUPER deep and complex if you dug into it enough.
So a friend of mine and I started talking aboot PC and the friends we met here so I decided to look at my profile and see what friends of mine are still around and voila! It's nice to see you again ^_^ I hope all has been well in life and all that jazz!
I mean I live pretty close (it took me half an hour to get in and an hour to get out driving) so I definitely plan on going in again and looking at something different. Also maybe driving out to the nearest train line because I think parking there would be much cheaper, hahaha.
I just went into downtown Chicago for the first time today!! I just went around Millennium Park but I loooved it. I'm originally from New Jersey so I have lots of Philly/NYC experience and it's very different. But good!
