"Legend says that a jungle is created when Sike yawns. It eats 7 kilograms of Pidgey eggs a day."

That last sentence becomes extra wtf when you factor in that I am apparently three inches tall. O.o; The site has decided I'm a three-inch-tall, 16.8-pound, dark/grass-type "Long Leg Pokémon".

It has also decided that Metallus is a gigantic butterfly.

My birthday was fantastic, thanks for asking. :)

Did you have a good day?

So, the tiredness led to TMI everywhere, but I think I'm okay now. :D Buuuut it was nice to sleep in a bunch of times. There's advantages to being unemployed (but yeah, I do need a job soon).

    Quote:
Note: I'm like half-asleep, so there won't be typos out the ass.
Good because that sounds like it could be painful.

    Quote:
And then there's me with caffeine, where I was pretty much raised on it so it doesn't affect me.
See, I used to be like that, but then my family switched from soda to juice and water when I was in high school. I've been without a constant supply of caffeine for years. ;_; HOW DID I GET THROUGH COLLEGE, ASTY?

    Quote:
gdi the soda i'm drinking now is caffeine-free. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
    x_x Migraine coming on, then?

    Quote:
And then my cat decided to settle right in on the pile of things to scan, so... You try moving a cat.
Oh, I've tried. Isn't it always fun when you move them, AND THEN THEY GO AND SIT RIGHT BACK IN THE SAME SPOT YOU TRIED TO CLEAR? FUN TIMES, ISN'T IT?

    Quote:
(because you're a girl and I'm stuck in a girl's body and that sounds like the plot to a 90's sitcom),
It should be. And at the end of each episode, there'd be a freeze-frame where we'd both be either laughing at really cheesy jokes or caught in awkward and potentially compromising positions. With the producer's credits right over us.

    Quote:
and I snorted in laughter loud enough that a coworker fled down the stairs.
    *high fives*

    Quote:
A ten-percent one off your entire order. I had to ask to make sure. And you may now imagine how that conversation went.
Must've been the best conversation ever. XD I'm imagining it probably went something like this:

"Hey, you get a 10% discount off anything we buy, right?"
    "Yeah. Why?"
"Oh, this girl I know online wants to know if she can buy ten thousand packages of jello for cheap if she gets a job here."
    "...'Kay."

    Quote:
Well, if you'd like a quick summary...
    ...Ew.

But at least I'm not the only one who used to chew on the sides on zir mouth.

    Quote:
Woof. Actually, I'm a horny dog. This conversation reminded me that I would really like to buy a collar.
...And I'd get that smiley face out again, but I'm lazy.

    Quote:
I recall Card saying that to think of the relationship between the Wiggin trio, he took his relationships with his siblings and turned them up to the extreme. So... Creepy.
Oh yeah, I read about that. And yes, that weirds me out just a little.

    Quote:
But at least the line in Game about Andy feeding squirrels is somewhat true.
Please tell me that was Card.

    Quote:
YES YES AND YOU GET CAPSLOCK YES!
    *bow*

    Quote:
This is the one thing that bugged me about Exile. That, and the fact that the plot was messed up, the characterization was off, and it read more like horrible fanfiction than canon (and when I finished reading it, I was all like "TEENAGE ANDY DESERVES BETTER!" because I am a freaking fanperson for teenage Andy I tell you what).
...And now you know I'll actually read that book someday. XD

    Quote:
And then the ending and it was all just very rushed. It was like Card completely forgot what plot he was going to follow for the book midway, getting distracted by plot A for the majority of the book before doing a time skip and was like "Oh hey, have plot B!" But it was rushed and...and...and I have a massive Andrew/Angel multi-chapter add-on to it.
Do put it online someday. XD I'm now curious.

    Quote:
Not gonna lie, I read all of Speaker, Xenocide, and Children of the Mind expecting Novinha to slap Andrew. From what I recall, she never did.
You gotta hand it to Novinha. She's a *****, but she's not violent, as far as I can recall.

    Quote:
... I JUST LIKE MY GAY HURT/COMFORT FICS! *curls in fetal position*
*pets* It's okay, honey. The bad novel can't hurt you anymore.

    Quote:
Speaking of fanfiction here, the fics from 2003 scare me. Like, if you thought FFL-spamland was bad? These fics are horrible, the reviews are horrible, and no one had an idea of what was going on.
Oh yeah. I took a good look at that stuff when you put it in the archive. On the other hand, I'm not entirely surprised. I mean, this is from the same era as those writing guides, right? Remember the one that taught people how to use Word's thesaurus? Fun times, Asty.

    Quote:
I'm looking at a fic now which has Bill handing out starting Pokemon to a new trainer. And Bill's described only as "a British-accented." That's it.
...And now I'm going to go find that fic. And I'm going to silently cry over being reminded how people used to characterize Bill. On the other hand, I think it was a bit bearable back then than nowadays. Now, people are trying to stick him with their Mary Sues. :| Seriously.

    Quote:
Like someone saying a story was written in script when it wasn't.
Or one saying that a story was written in present tense when it wasn't?

    Quote:
    What is this? Rant night?
Every night is rant night! :D

    Quote:
I kind of stopped reading fics. I don't know what happened. I just lost interest.
It's okay. I sort of did too. Part of it was me wanting to headdesk over the lack of paragraphing and generic plots, but I can't really say much because I'm not supposed to stir drama anymore. :/

    Quote:
Still write my own, of course, but I really don't have the want to read anyone else's. I might just try to leave little "make paragraphs plz" reviews to get some activity in FF&W.
Might be a good idea. And then, I might actually push myself to write something. I have a review ready for the AAML fic. I just need to polish it up, post it, and run like a bat outta hell.

    Quote:
And I don't write my stories directly from head to computer. I always write it out long-hand first. In fact, half my desk is covered in notebooks for all the story ideas I have, and I have three boxes of empty notebooks under my bed/next to the sofa.
Oh yes. I remember you telling me that.

...I guess I just like the clacky noises. XD

    Quote:
Sometimes, I wonder if you secretly channel me to write Bill's character.
    MAYBE I DO. ;D

    Quote:
Because when someone gets to know me more, they realize that I'm not bright-eyed and innocent like I appear to be.
...People think you're innocent? Man, I thought you were a badass before getting to know you.

    Quote:
But you know, it's not like anyone ever thinks to ask for the writer's emblem from me.
Inorite? It's not like you're the mod of the writing forum or anything.

    Quote:
Also, in work, I leaned against a display of butter. Said display was on wheels. That wasn't fun.
Well, at least it was butter and not, say, something in glass bottles. That would've really sucked.

    Quote:
Edit: The amount of random people looking at my profile has skyrocketed ever since we started VM-ing again.
Yeah, I noticed that. I started getting orange names on my recent visitors list, and I was like, "lol, hi again, voyeurs."

    THEY MISSED US, I'M SURE.

    Quote:
More board drama? I just might have to head back to the BBS in order to keep on top of these things. Apparently you just can't admin any forum without some drama added to it.
Evidently. :| I didn't even cause it this time.

See, apparently, there's these two twats on my board who like to go into our IRC channel (which I barely touch because I always log on and quickly forget I'm even on) who just can't get along. One of them started taking out his anger towards the other on a blog, but he was just genius enough to link to it in his sig. And people went through a small kerfluffle, and one of the mods banned the ****-stirrer without notifying him.

Which means on top of watching over the events over at the board, I have to keep an eye on... that to make sure it doesn't boil all over the place. Because boys can be right pussies sometime, you know? They say chicks get all dramatic? The most dramatic people I've met online were guys. :|

The mod does a great job, of course, otherwise. She's just new at modding, but oh my, the kids on the channel.

    Quote:
Also, apparently the Revision Bin is being brought to PokéFarm, only with much harsher terms being used in the open.
    ….

I really have no words to describe how :| I'm going. Man, I'm glad it's not a significant source of fanfic.

    Quote:
I was going to respond to that thread, but I can't think of any way other than "Wouldn't the staff's fics be tossed into the Junkyard for not meeting standards? :V"
    Yes. Yes, they would.

(Refresh my memory, but isn't it true that the stickied fic doesn't believe in paragraphing?)

    Quote:
And apparently bad grammar scars children for life. IDK.
    BUT IT DOES. ;_;

    Quote:
:( to the job fair. And to drivers aiming for you. Maybe they'd figure you'd prefer to fly to the job fair?
Ironically, it was right near the airport, SO I GUESS APPARENTLY?

Edit: Speaking of sudden visitor spikes and people I haven't seen in months on my recent visitors list, can you make heads or tails of Skunter's last VM to me? 'Cause I can't. :(

I like a lot of Pokemon, but my top 3 is the most important to me, and it hasn't changed since generation II. But my first love was Eevee, so it will always hold that place<3

Your hair is curly? Haha. I couldn't imagine if mine was. :( It wouldn't spike up too well if it was curly.

If I can make a suggestion, instead of removing the rating system altogether, why not make it so that users have to give their username before rating a thread, and that mods should be able to edit abused and false ratings?

Same with me and Seed bby (Churine). I mean, it doesn't replace my top three, but it kicked Furret out of my top five. The power of cotton.

I don't have any at the moment. Feel free to make me lol!
