Yo, Astinuts, what's going on? XD

I still need to read most of Ender's side of the story, I'll probably get on it after school lets out. I read Ender's Game first, but after I read Ender's Shadow I just had to finish that series first. I really like Bean's series because of the militaristic and political aspects.

You sound kind of shocked at finding another OSC fan, which seems weird to me because over half of the people at my school have read Ender's Game. XD

Either that, or it hates freaking dial-up. >_O

Exactly! See, the entire trainer thing is actually a conspiracy. In order to force people to tame Pokemon so Pokemon don't use those supernatural abilities and apparently above-animal intelligence to kick the crap out of the human race, the government "encourages" new trainers to stay in a career centered around Pokemon with BACON. It's why no OT ever gives up training Pokemon to take up a more practical job!

As for your plans to take over the world, I recommend monkeys. They literally work for peanuts, and no one except PETA really objects when you decide to dispose of one.

Also, best thread title ever. The actual thread's about collecting Pokemon plushies, which just isn't as exciting.

Dumb question here, I'm chalk full of them!

    What exactly is NC-17 territory?

Pictures, actually. :3 Both are... well, you'll see. I apologize in advance. X3 *prepares to PM them, site willing*

Rants... hoo boy, is there even such a thing as a fandom without 'em? X3

    I definitely need to read that... XD Heck, I still need to read what you did for last month's prompt, for that matter. I've only had very limited success in catching up with everything on my to-read list... XD;

Heh, you didn’t think I’d actually say something and then never ever come back? Especially today (well, tonight or something seeing as it’s past midnight now...) since I’m in a good.

That seems awfully...awkward of them. Guess they don’t have the balls to attack you here where you’re in power. :D And I completely forgot about your email, but knowing me I would have probably considered it to be too easy to look through my emails for it and come here anyways.

I kind of know how you feel about becoming a mod and all from back when I was active in a Zoids forum called Zoids Evolution. Through a rather strange and coincidental turn of events the webmaster turned to my sister’s friend Kyle for hosting, he became an admin, and then he made me and my sister admins for reasons I can’t really remember other than that we needed more admins and we were/are his friends. Eventually he then left, I became head admin, and then I eventually left too... ZE seems to be cursed with head admins leaving >_< I really miss those days, though. Sure, there was drama, but there was also a lot of fun. Admining ATP isn’t near as fun as admining ZE was X_x

Anyways, nostalgia and reminiscing aside, Dimi did that notice thing on ATP not because of flamers or whatnot but because of ever annoying spambots. I’m not sure where he got the troll part from, but then again I don’t think he actually looked over the list of 36 validating members that had accumulated in two weeks and so just assumed what was on there was a mix of robots and bad people. That’s part of the problem with InvisionFree, it’s very easy to find yourself in some spambot database... If we didn’t have account authorization, we’d be swimming in them no doubt X_x

If I post a fanfic here anytime soon it’ll probably more likely be my new fic, TRINITY, rather than TFC. I’m considering a revision/rewrite of sorts for TFC after I finish part 4 in about two chapters or so, and if I do do that, I may post it here then. If not, we’ll have to see because 27+ chapters to catch up on is a ton (plus I don’t like the first three or so chapters that much since they just seem lacking compared to the rest, not to mention the various things I’ve retconned and are thus inconsistent...). TRINITY is only in the prologue right now though, so it could very easily be posted here. It’s nothing like TFC or, well, any other Pokémon story I’ve ever seen (my own classification for it is “cyberpunk-styled sci-fi inspired by Ghost in the Shell”), so I would like to get it out to more places than just Serebii. Unfortunately going on a small vacation almost right after I posted it kind of hampered my plans a little...

Heh, usually on birthdays other people give you something, but this birthday in a couple days I just may have some stuff to give to Serebii (namely the now almost three months in waiting TFC chap 27) and maybe here, who knows. I was thinking of something like that last year, but it didn’t work out. Of course this time I actually have some stuff ready... We'll see.

EDIT: Dammit, that's long. Hell, it was even longer before but I cut some stuff out. It's hard for me to type concisely >_<

PC chewed my response, so I resubmitted it. Turns out, PC spat it back out as I hit the button to submit it... then chewed it again when I wanted to go in to delete it. O_o WTF, PC. WTF.

No, no, Astinus. Ever notice how there's only a handful of people in the Pokemon world who isn't doing something related to Pokemon? Kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Of course! It all makes sense now!

It's only taking over the world because they're playing the drinking game too. XD

You know what needs to happen then? An OT needs to be a vegetarian.

And then they should eat bacon.

Ooh. I'll read and leave a comment over there when I get a chance. =D

And if Dragonite's a hamster, then what does that make Rayquaza?

And okay. Because I took your suggestion about taking a drink every time you start a sentence with the word "and." *thumbs up*

Oh snap. I didn't actually notice that last attempt. XD Skimming through, the entire breakfast thing kinda reminds me of Digimon 2: The Return of Digimon. ("He was also eating orange juice a muffin and sausage and a bacon piece but he also ate just bread.")

Oh snap. XD Post or send the responses when you get them?

As for redneck-speaking Raikou, le awesome. =D I can't wait to see it. Also, yes, <3 for mpreg. Especially mpreg crack. XD (What cracky fangirl dreams might these be?)

Regarding Dragonite, nuh-uh. It's totally a saber-toothed tiger. Because if you can compare a horse to a cow, then surely a lizard is a mammal!

Why not try both? You can start by having the Sneasel look out towards the legendary from a tree of magnificence. Before a 232-pound Pokemon ninjas its way over and bites Sneasel's tail.

(Response is partway through. I'm trying to find a way to respond to the part about the Dominator without sounding like an idiot. XD)

Aww, I was kinda hoping that was just some n00b trying to write a brand new stereotypical OT story with a self-insert/Gary Stu bearing an improbable name.

Awesome. I'll have to admit that it ticks me off a little that the twerp's getting rave reviews when he didn't write the thing. That and he really thinks he can dupe not only one staff but two.

As for a parody, I'm very tempted now, but I think Farla can do better. XD My parodies end up being taken seriously. On the other hand, I do need to answer that FFC prompt... (Oh, come on. The prompt is "birth." That either yields angst, Pokemon hatching, bad attempt at being deep, logical birth fic, or mpreg. And as hilarious mpreg would be, I really don't think anyone else except my LJ friendslist would agree.)

Also also, oh, absolutely. Because if you've got to go down, you might as well go down sounding pretentious.

My personal favorite quote, though, has to do with whether or not dragons are real:

Mind you, I don't know how you can say dragons are such a better model, when dragons don't actually exist.

I'd really like to see what he thinks Dragonite is. Or most of the legendaries.

Side note, but you may want to check out this story compared to this one. I wouldn't have bothered looking into it... until I caught him plagiarizing on PFU.

And yeah, for some reason, PC goes boom all the time with me whenever I want to send a message too. I just thought it was my connection. O_o

As to the kid wanting to find deep meaning... I dunno, Astinus. Should I counter this with a parody? ("The night sky was black, like Pikachu's SOUL.")

And as for Charizard being a T-Rex... wow. XD Just... wow.

Tracking you down is a pain, you realize that? Can't leave a visitor message on Serebii, can't PM you there, changed name here, my old account which I pretty much didn't use was purged or something... How can you expect me to reply to your message if you make it so hard? :D Luckily for you I'm just so persistent.

Yes, my profile over there (and likely here too since unless I make up my mind on rather to post TFC and now TRINITY here or not I probably won't be posting here at all) is quite lonely. I'm a lonely soul, woe is me. The fact that I pretty much never post outside of the fanfic forum and only there ever few months or so probably doesn't help.

*Pokes your bold, blue name* I bet you're proud, it really suits you. You really helped me in my early stages where I still needed to work out my grammar, and for that I'll forever be thankful.

Tch, I've had a lack of time to write for some of the same reasons you lack time to read. Just substitute "modding" for "admining a community that can't seem to last one day without some big drama coming up." Yes, I'm pretty sure you know what one that is. I've been drifting away from there though and at the same time my desire to write has been coming back. Coincidence? Perhaps.

...I take so long to post chapters that it's no surprise to me that I lose readers every once in a while anyways since they have no clue that I'm even still alive seeing as I don't post elsewhere on the forums. But I don't care if I don't get many reviews as it's not what I write for. *nods*

Have a good time modding here :D

@ the quote box fic: Oh, WTF. What gave him the remote idea that that was how to write a story?

@ Munchlax: Exactly! And tree branches can support its weight as it launches itself from tree to tree, hurtling itself through the air, diving towards the Aipom! And oh yes. Honey jiggles all over the place, baby.

@ the review guide: Oh, Jesus Christ. I really hope no one listens to this kind of blind pretentiousness, and if anyone does and comes over here or PFU, remind me to beat them upside the head with my own review guide. God bless Dragonfree, though. Seriously, God bless her. We need, like, a flipping choir of angels to come down and make her a saint.

And yeah, I realize how ironic it is to talk about an atheist like that.

"that every word an author pens is carefully chosen"

Someone has a little too much faith in the writers of the Pokemon fandom.
