EDIT: Oh, I had known about the ansible, I just thought it was odd that there were pilots in the ships, yet Ender was telling his toon leaders what to do. My first thought was that the toon leaders were only pretending to be controlling the ships, but then I remembered that Petra had blanked out and the ships hadn't moved. I'll just see if my question is answered in a later book. Thanks for the explanation though!

EDIT 2: Hmm, at the speed of light? If it were going the speed of light, then if they were communicating over one light year, would it not take one year for the message to get across? I'm thinking it's instantaneous communication that transcends light speed. That's probably what you meant by light speed though.

At the end, they say that the fighters were piloted by other people, but what about the squad leaders under Ender? How were they controlling the ships at the same time as the pilots? Unless the pilots were there just in case the controls malfunctioned...

Lol, the actual Goatse one wasn't the one that scarred me the most. It was mostly the Tubgirl-Goatse one I saw. That was just disgusting.

I have almost finished Ender's Game, and am about to go back to it now. Didn't have much time today to read, unfortunately, but I think I'm about an hour or two away from the end. I'm liking it a lot so far, and it has rekindled a forgotten love of science fiction. Now I'm going to have to raid every bookstore and library around for every other book
