Hold on. *does another cocktail of illegal substances* Okay, I'm ready. *heads off to the thread*

Wow. I didn't think anyone would be that drama-tastic. O_o I mean, the camera comment? The entire thread just drips of WTFery. Incidentally, is it just me, or was she less crazy before she got that name change?

Also... XD Who says it's incest? Maybe he's just very fond of himself. ("Oh baby. I see you in that mirror. You're looking fine tonight." *whips it out... and then goes to a corner to cry*)

I know ;_; It sucks having to do all the families and houses all over again. It would be fun otherwise, but when it has that feeling of redoing something, it just sucks. And is slow.

It was that Q&A thingamajigger that cracked me up again. Every time you renew the rules somehow, you crack me up. I miss the stuff about special snowflakes, though ;_; And now the little noobs won't have anything witty to refer to!

Aww, I wished for a more round number than that. You know, I could have been the 100th person to say that and then get some cool prize for it! But, well, I guess not, then :< The books I can't put down are relatively rare, you know, because it takes some very fluent storytelling to keep me in. I'm overly critical when it comes to books, but whenever I find a book like that, teh world could practically explode without me noticing it. Good thing they had translated Ender's Game so well. A bad translation could have ruined the whole thing. (By the way, are the bug-peoples called "bugs" in the original version? I found the word they used in the translation relatively odd...) But, man, the book really had me in its grasp! There were moments when I was ready to jump in and stangle people or start crying or whatnot. It was hard for me to sleep that night, after reading the whole book that day, because my mind was a total mess of all sorts of thoughts xD

Wait, Game was action-oriented? I felt that although it did have action, it happened on the level of his thoughts, mostly. I'll get around to reading Speaker, then, once I get the Christmas stuff out of my hands. My mom forces me to do all sorts of stuff I don't even think are necessary for Christmas, but I can't say no...

Don't they say that no news is good news or something? ^-^ (Yay, I know an English proverb! Go me!) Oops, and sorry for my excessively long VM ^-^'' Sorry, sorry!

No way! Did you just confess to not being on the computer 24/7? Astinus, I don't think I'll be able to look at your posts the same way again!

Hi there, Astinus. How're you getting your computer back together?
I noticed you've added new stuff to the rules... First, I thought I'd praise you for it, but then I couldn't think of words witty enough for that purpose.

So, I'm just going to let you know that I read Ender's Game to see what you were talking about, and, well, it appears it's one of those books I have to read without putting the book down. This I know because I simply couldn't put the book down before I had reached the back cover. I tried, but failed miserably. When I was reading it, my dad entered my room and when he saw what I was reading, his jaw dropped. He asked me "since when have you read books like Ender?" He disappeared before I managed to tell him I'm not listening because I'm reading and popped back three seconds later to bring me Speaker for the Dead. Regrettably, I've been too busy to read it. Is it as good?

But, yeah. How's everything in your life?

That REALLY sucks. It barely ever snows here in North Carolina.

I'm glad to hear, I work at a middle school and it is out so I have all break off.

    Also... You staffies confuse me.

In any case, left him positive reputation. Dotted with a heart. Asty, I think we may need to have a foursome.

Finally, I'm a little tempted to help you out there, but I'm afraid it'd cause the internet to implode.

*sprays you with holy water* ;_; Satan, release thy hold on this child!

Also, yeah, when I first read the title of that thread, I thought, "Wait. Is Lukespade a mod? Sweet Jesus, help us all." And then I read it, loled, and felt completely out of the loop of member-staff drama. *sigh* I need to pay attention to F&Q more often.

I kinda want to know which one she's talking about. Because I need to drop by that mod's profile and thank him for amusing me.

Also, would you know if this LJ is still available for browsing?
