I seriously need to stop giving you plot bunnies. Seriously. Of course, stopping that is right up there with me learning how to type correctly, which isn't happening anytime soon.

On the positive side, watching the plot bunnies go at it is kinda momentarily funny. I mean, the male plot bunny goes on top of the female one, and then there's all these noises, and then you have to put a cardboard box over them and convince the children that they're just playing...

    I was singing that song while flinging bread and jumping on cash registers. It was a ninja musical. ;_;

And then a month later, the Disney Channel turned it into a movie, and you started getting stalked by fourteen-year-old girls?

He did have that giant Slowpoke created because he was drunk. That was an amusing issue of Ono's manga. XD

Seriously. XD I loved Ash's lack of proofreading in the letter at the end too.

I'm flattered; and then, if they try to publish it (including on the net) except in very restricted circumstances, I will sue, because if I do NOT act vigorously to protect my copyright, I will lose that copyright -- and that is the only inheritance I have to leave my family. So fan fiction, while flattering, is also an attack on my means of livelihood. It is also a poor substitute for the writers' inventing their own characters and situations. It does not help them as writers; it can easily harm me; and those who care about my stories and characters know that what I write is "real" and has authority, and what fans write is not and does not. So it's all pointless. I'd prefer simply to ignore it when it happens, but the way copyright law functions, I am told that I cannot ignore it. So there it is."

So... he likes the fact that we're writing fanfiction, but he doesn't want us writing it. Okay! *thumbs up*

But even where he said that quote was shoved into an interview with some no-name and locked away on his official website. It's not on the main page, nor is there a huge message anywhere about it. And to even find a link to the interview, I had to go to some no-name website that was linked on the dead community I'm a part of on LJ.

You know, somehow, it makes me think there's this secret authors' club somewhere in the world, and there were a bunch of authors like Anne Rice bashing fanfiction. And then Card, who wanted to be cool with the rest of the authors, posted that in an obscure place and said he totally agreed with all the other authors at the secret authors' meeting, but in actuality, he wants us to do it anyway.

It's kinda like being in the Pokemon fandom. You don't tell people you watch kids' anime on a daily basis, and then you go home and cuddle up to your Pikachu plush and say, "I still love you, Pikachu!"

(Also, I'm on coffee, so right now, my brain is creating all sorts of fun patterns that has nothing to do with anything in particular.)

So, he doesn't really seem to care. It's the fans that hang out on his forum that hate it. Whenever anyone mentions it, they get jumped on and attacked for even daring to think about fanfiction (even in general) or to think that "the word of Card" is the truth and that there's nothing wrong with it at all.

I know you're probably hinting at this, but I'm amused by how much this reminds me of that other big fandom that often misinterprets the author's words.

Of course, the amount of Enderverse/Ender's Universe/Ender's World (sounds like a theme park! 8D)

Now imagine a guy in a cartoonish Andy costume.

Lots of his "fans" vowed to never buy his books again because of what things he said.

I admit I haven't followed Card for that long, but from what I've heard of his reputation, wasn't he always like that? XD

Edit: I happened to look at your profile page. Another comment amuses me. Is it serious?

    Who is Goatse?

*sigh* I didn't think he would reply to it, just read it. I'm not going to get any more concrit and have no plans to add to it, so may as well close it.

I'll take it that this is a quote from the book, which I should have temporary possession of in the next half half hour XD

Oh, and thanks for the compliment on my sarcasm. It makes me feel special when someone as awesome as you says that I can execute sarcasm well.

I've never actually visited a 4-chan board, so I have no idea how bad it is on those. I hope you don't have to become more strict though. It's fun reading your fun posts. But, I guess that you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

I can't wait to read it already. If I become as obsessed as you then I'm afraid of two things. First, the character limit will be reinstated because I'll have to tell you everything I liked about it. Second, the PFF&P forum will explode from utter confusion from random quotes and allusions to the book. I have a bad habit of quoting books I like lol.

I wasn't trolling/imitating your style, was I? I mean, if it seems like I was, then be assured that I didn't mean to. I am an extremely sarcastic person IRL, and I actually have to hold back when I post here, LOL.

Upon further investigation, I think I have found what spurred that addition to the rules. Still, I do wonder whether or not you consider me a troll or not.

EDIT: Apparently my girlfriends brother might have Ender's Game. I'm going to double check tonight, but hopefully I can read it soon so I can figure out why you're obsessed over it XD

DOUBLE EDIT: I guess he does have it. He's going to loan it to me tomorrow after I get out of work, and I should have time to read it tomorrow evening. Well, today really. I confuse myself.

It's horrible. If I had seen that when I was younger, I could've had nightmares after seeing the dreaded "death by flies".

There's a colour? Dear gawd, I have to make a full family of killable people and investigate this matter! I've never noticed they have different colours. I've noticed their different actions, though. But they all like to play with toddler toys.

Yes, you are. I always give up on making sims out of characters I like, because they never look they way I want them to. Of course, that problem is annihilated if it's never told how they look in the books. Which, by the way, is an interesting method. Maybe I should become a fan of those books, too. I just can't stop myself from telling everything about everything when I write. I feel like telling everything about my characters, from their beliefs and what was their relationship to their parents like when they were younger to the smallest detail of their eyes and the curtains of their room. Although most of them have no room and therefore no curtains. How sad it is to be a character of mine xD

By the way, in Sims, cookies come in a bag resembling the one potato chips are sold in. Does that hold true to USA also? Do you eat cookies from a bag? We have boxes, and the cookies are neatly lined up in those boxes, just to be eaten when the box is opened... It must suck to be a cookie.

You could put up a huge fight, resulting in him getting you a restraining order to any of his books. Then you'd be a real criminal! You could even occasionally send him a letter telling that you just read one of his books again... Chances are he'd be so annoyed he'd write a dozen of new books, thinking you can't get your hands on them. Of course, you would... Is my imagination a tad too vivid? xD
