It's been hectic honestly, somehow someway I'm able to manage. It's an up week followed by a down week over and over; it's exhausting.

I miss you. .__.

I got a job! :D After hunting since my last update, I'm about to start on a part-time job at Bath & Body Works. (I'm still looking for a second job.)

...But I'll probably just go to grad school after this. Considering all these shenanigans, I think it'd be nice to actually work on something I went to school for, y'know?

Oh no. I may never look at the Game Gear versions of Sonic and Sonic 2 the same way again. XD;

Speaking of bizarre VG advertisements, I was watching a few commercials on YouTube last night and stumbled upon this Game Boy Micro ad.

I assume we can still post parodies? Because I am writing a sequel to e1337 as we speak.

Yeah. After the interview, I said I'd call back in a couple of days to make sure I got everything in order (because I still don't have a bank down here for direct deposit or... um, any other deposit, really) and to make sure I didn't get any call backs from anything else (because to get to Half-Price Books, I'd have to go on one bus, transfer to another, and hope that it really is only a 38-minute ride, whereas to get to the other thirty jobs I'd applied for the week before my interview, I'd only have to go on one bus for about six minutes). Apparently, they thought "a couple of days" actually meant "by the day after," so they gave the position they'd promised me to someone else. :|

Yeah, uh, scratch the part about the job. Long story, but it doesn't really matter all that much. Still applying around, so hey. Maybe something soonish? Maybe?

Asty~! I might have a job soon! :D I got an offer at a local bookstore, but admittedly, I told them I'd think about it until Wednesday. (Because, uh, I'm still waiting to see if I get an interview/job offer with the companies a little closer to home.)

But still. Retail. During the holiday season. But it's made better by the fact that I get over 9000 awesome little benefits. (Health insurance if they take me on permanently, deep employee discounts, even a library program where I get to borrow stuff for a night and a shelf where I can reserve stuff I want to buy~! :DDDD I can probably buy the whole Ender series this way.)
