Ah, damn that study, it gets in the way of all the good livin'!

I'm not sure if you ever asked me, but I work. I work at Liquorland XD it's a really awesome job, it doesn't do much with my 87 UAI (or is it ATAR now?) but while I'm figuring out what I want to do with my life, it fits nicely

    What are you studying?

But is it a misconception that psychiatrists don't listen to you? It all depends if you care for your patient, or you care for money. That decision will steer you to the path you will enjoy the most.

Sounds like you weren't born in Australia. Yeah, doctors will say stuff like that because it is their job. But it's up to you the patient and the close family to decide if you should go with it or not. Some just blindly take the dose without realizing the consequences.

Yes, those with Ph.Ds and Master's do have that benefit. But there's ways aside from that, such as graduating from a school that's popular, or getting a professional engineering license along with your Bachelor's--that means you don't need a Master's. Many small/medium consulting firms require that, and the necessary experience.

Ah, that's pretty interesting. I studied psychology in school for a very short while but never learned anything too useful, unfortunately. But I've heard from people who studied it in more depth that it's a really interesting subject. And yeah, writing is a competitive area, especially difficult with something so specialised. =/

Let's see... I know I'm visiting London. I think I'm visiting somewhere in France and Italy. I know there's a fourth place but I can't remember!

The manga is more "mature". The biggest maturity difference between the anime and manga, and even the games and manga, is that half the gym leaders are evil, all the elite four are evil, and they are pretty much out to /kill/ the protagonists. So yeah, killing, it's the major maturity difference, pokemon attack humans and all that jazz. Gym badges possess special powers... (Or at least, this is how the earlier arcs of the manga go.)

Basically? Y'know all the characters you can pick from in the games? They're /all/ in the manga as the protagonists. Except Yellow. Yellow is the Pokemon Aventures manga's own creation who has never been seen outside the manga despite being pretty darn popular. She's also one of the few with her own story arc. Oh, and y'know how Crystal version has Crystal and Heart Gold / Soul Silver has Lyra? Technically they're the same in the manga. Crystal just... starts dressing in Lyra's outfit in one of the later arcs. (I think the HG/SS arc)

    (The arcs are as followed.)
    Red Blue and Green arc
    Yellow arc
    Gold Silver and Crystal arc
    Ruby and Sapphire arc
FireRed and LeafGreen arc (Takes place in sevii island and stars same characters from RGB arc, only older)
Emerald arc (Focuses on the Battle Frontier)
    Diamond and Pearl arc
Platinum arc (Platinum is actually the name of the female D/P hero, Diamond of the male, and Pearl of the rival. This focuses on the Battle Frontier and Distortion World)
HeartGold and SoulSilver arc (Stars the GSC heroes in a brand new plot.)
Black and White arc (Stars Black, the male b/w hero, Cheren, and Bianca, and slightly later down the road, White, the female b/w hero.)

I've actually never seen N in the manga, but that being said any manga starting with platinum isn't even finished yet. HG/SS and B/W arc are ESPECIALLY new.

Oh, and there are also a few hidden adult jokes in the manga, the kind that would probably fly over younger kid's heads.

But yeah! I highly recommend the Adventures manga. For right now, I'll recommend any arc up to the G/S/C arc. I hear the R/S arc is good too, but RGB, Yellow, and GSC are supposed to be commonly accepted as the best.

    No, I haven't really decided yet. :/
I'm not really sure if I am a leader.
But when I try, it's discouraging when my sister does everything right while my parents are still stuck on me liking Pokemon.

That name is just cruel... I love me a good BBQ, idc where it came from, I love it. Hmm, a good Meat lover's pizza or a good Burrito? Damn that's hard. It depends on my mood (Or how easy they are to obtain) but dammmmmm.
I just had the BEST idea... I'm just gonna tell you now, I live in Melbourne cuz using Melbourne makes telling you my idea easier.

Anyway, I want to get together 8 people who live around Melbourne and have them get together a team based on a certain type of Pokemon. They'd be stationed around Melbourne and have semi easily portable cardboard mazes or a something that they can drive around in and set up somewhere. But staying there all the time isn't gonna happen. So, to get around that I'll set up a website. People can make appointments for battling the gym leaders and then they have to go to the specified meeting point (Each gym will always be set in the same spot) and the gym leader will be there with their porta-gym set up and waiting at the end of it. The challenger then goes through the porta-gym and fights the gym leader. If they win they get an actual badge.
So, with 8 of these around Melbourne, Melbourne would have it's own Pokemon League! And if it gets popular enough I could set up a yearly tournament where people with all 8 Melbourne badges can participate.

    How awesome does that sound?

Both. Garchomp, Dragonite, Flygon and Salamence are equally cool in their own right. Outside of those type combos, Hydreigon takes the cake for that one, despite being really hard to get.

    Geez. >w< I'm going on vacation to Europe this winter and I'm slightly terrified that I'm going to do something and get hurt. That or run away from anything that moves in my general direction. >w>;

I watched quite a few of the older episodes, but I don't really watch it often anymore. I'm a bigger fan of the games and manga.

They've always wanted me to be a leader, and use that same term. XD
Just take a step farther than anyone else, but I've yet to do that.

About Me

  • About Nutella
I'm currently an undergraduate counselling/psychology student. I live in the mystical land Down Under, where Koalas live in my backyard and the cheapest transportation is via Kangaroos. EVERYTHING YOU HEARD ABOUT AUSTRALIA IS TRUE!

I'm a big Nintendo fan, and have only being playing Nintendo games since I was five years old. My absolute favourite game is Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. I'm a MASSIVE Legend of Zelda fan since I was fourteen- my first game being Ocarina of Time. Other than Pokemon of course, I also enjoy Kirby, Phoenix Wright, Professor Layton, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and too many more to name.

Aside from video gaming, I'm also a keen writer. I would like to get published someday- but definitely after I graduate and have a stable source of reliable income. Currently I'm enjoying dabbling in fan fiction, and it has been good to me in return.

PAIRINGS: I'm not an avid supporter of any pairing, but I don't hate them all, neither. I tend to lean towards cracky ships. Currently I like the idea of Elesa x Cress/Cilan/Chili, especially Cress. I also support Cafe Mocha (which is Ash x Cilan). The only pairing I don't like is Wishful (Cilan x Iris).

FAVOURITE CHARACTERS: Currently my absolute favourites are Cilan, Cress and Chili, if my fan club and profile didn't make that obvious enough for you. I also like Elesa, Volkner, Flint, Shauntal, Grimsley, Brock and Cyrus.
