    Yeah, that's the only thing I won't accept in hacked pokemon. I may use hacks, but I'd never make something like a Bidoof have a 529 Sp.Atk with Deoxys moves.

    People probably discourage AR play just because they're being really legalistic on fairness. I only use my AR after I've beaten a game.

    Don't worry, I've been using AR on my game for a couple of months now, and it has never messed up (that is of course unless you use to many uncompatible codes at the same time).
    I've never used a Macho brace, but if it says something like,"Increases atk gain", or something like that, you're good.

    If you personally want to EV your pokemon, then you can look on Serebii for an EV yield chart (I.e Tentacruel gives 2 Evs in Sp.Def, Pidgeot gives 3 in speed) will help you know what pokemon you need to fight. Power items make EVing alot easier since they give 4 extra evs in whatever youre EVing. If you have an AR, then it becomes even easier because you'll be able to generate whatever pokemon are necessary for the Evs you want.

    I have a shiny Mew on my Diamond version that if I remember correctly is hacked... But I also have a bunch of competely legit Mews... Do you want either of them? :P

    Yeah. And I should really get that Life Orb off Rome. Seriously Brave Bird Recoil along with Life Orb recoil is not a good matchup.
    I can also help you with your training, especially if your EV spreads consist of 252 and such.
