How soon do you think you can get the next chapter of Leaf and Lisa's story read? I'd like to get the next chapter up by the weekend

Now on to the rest of my message, lol

Awesome! It's always to just get a test behind you, even if you don't think you did all that well. I know I don't like to dwell on a test after I'm done; I just like to relax And I'm no good with analyzing literature, lol... I'm glad 2003 was the last time I ever had to pick up a novel xD

And probably not an American car from the 1960's and 1970's either, but if I can put a car-like spin on something, I'll gladly do it. Especially since Pokemon is really lacking in cars overall...

I know.... he's probably going to spend the rest of his life in jail, but that doesn't change the fact that he's 68 and he's been living his life and committing his crimes for decades without anyone doing anything about it.

Something like Pokemon meets Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, huh... I could definitely see something like that... I could do brutal combo attacks and bloody finisher moves on the trainers I hate xD But yeah, for a "world tournament" it's really lacking in participants.

Actually, there's now a slight change in my team makeup... Ampharos is now the Electric type and Eevee will now become Espeon.

Can't say that I liked the battle frontiers either. They feed your Pokemon drugs to adjust their levels to 50, they force you to battle with half your team, and the CPU gets suspiciously lucky... I once got destroyed in the tower because an opponent landed three consecutive Sheer Colds on me. That's just plain cheap. And since the tournament appears to be more of the same (three on three, probably unfair CPU luck) I wouldn't participate even if they had a decent selection of opponents.

The test was on finance. The math end of it. Which means I had to (attempt to) memorize a whole lotta complex math formulas in addition to terminology. I took the test in 2011, and I had to recall stuff I hadn't seen since 2007 for this thing. Amazing that I ended up passing...

Eh, I haven't committed to anything yet. I'm going to have my brother test drive it for me since he'll buy anything with the Pokemon name slapped on it...

Those sites aren't really lessons, they're more tools and stuff x] But I'm thinking about getting a Japanese tutor rather than learning it online since all the pronunciation will be easier to grasp and such if you can actually hear it being said and have it corrected. :3 Thanks for the help!

Oh, then I'm already half way done! c; So how far have you gotten with learning it? I've been looking for a good course but they're all "Here have 10 free lessons then pay tonnes for the rest!" D: And it has all being using the romaji alphabet so far o3o

Hey, are things going any better with your studies? The big (test) day's coming up soon...

Oh, and should I happen to get B2/W2, I think I've got my team finalized for the game (after MANY edits and finding out that Pokemon and items I needed weren't available xD)

Tbh I've always wanted to learn it using just the abc alphabet, but I'm not sure that's possible... Is it? xD

Well, that is definitely not good... that's why I don't really like these tests at the end of the year, there's too much to memorize! There should be a midterm that covers the first half of the year, then the finals only cover the second half... at least some of my professors in college took that approach, so there was less to memorize...

People seem to forget that I'm entitled to my opinion as well... and believe me, a lot of my opinions are not of the majority regarding Pokemon. I can bet I'm the only person anywhere who believes this was the inspiration for the name of the Unova region...

Evil, sick guy. Worst part was that he got away with it for maybe 30 or 40 years and the college covered it up. Because he was a football coach and he was getting results on game day. And apparently, as long as you get results on the field, nothing else matters...

Well, I'd rather not talk about you-know-who anymore. I don't need to go on some sort of crazed rampage or something. I'll just say that his popularity is completely baffling to me considering he's a weakling, Leaf would have the better team if they ever included her, and regarding past characters, I either want to see all of them, or none of them at all. None of this, "let's pick and choose our favorites and give everyone else the shaft" stuff (keep in mind that ALL protagonists besides the idiot were excluded, not to mention the Elite Four... I would've liked to see Lorelei and Lucian again as well). And no, the tournament is a den of evil horrors that I never intend to step into.

I'd finally like to say that I now have an extra nasty surprise for a certain chump in my story, and Leaf will be the one to deliver it to him

I'd really like to talk about other matters regarding the games. Like how I have no idea where I'm gonna get the Thunderstone I need for the Jolteon I've planned for my team. I hava a friend who's playing through a Japanese version and she hasn't come across it in the places it was in B/W... and I can't keep the thing as an Eevee until after the Elite Four...

Planned team so far is Samurott, Archeops, Liepard, Flygon, possibly Jolteon, and some 6th team member I don't know yet.

I'll be honest, I'm not half the fan I was back in, say, 2009. I didn't like HG/SS and I didn't like B/W, so those were major blows to my fandom. Platinum's actually the newest Pokemon game that I still own. I can't buy Pokemon games based on the name alone, nowadays. It's like a car where you have to take it on a test drive before you buy it... I need to know that I'm not going to get bored with the game after a couple months before I buy.

I don't see the point of the Dream World and all this wi-fi stuff, either. Wi-fi should just be limited to the core activities of trading and battling with others, and not these other activities that I don't want to do. The tournament is an unnecessary add-on as well, IMO. It certainly has nothing to do with the core plot of the game.

Wow... I never got anything that bad in high school. College, though, was a whole different story. To graduate, I had to take a test that covered FOUR YEARS worth of material... every class I took that was in the program of study. Now that test was a monster. I'd say I lost about a week of sleep trying to prepare for that and I still forgot half of it on test day:/

Though, honestly, these days I'd probably go crazy if I had to study that much... I actually think I handled studying better when I was younger as opposed to when I was in college. Maybe it was because there were less distractions in high school

Hey there, how goes the studying?

Man, I've had people harass me left and right just because I said I didn't want to get the new games because of you-know-what... It's kinda getting ridiculous...

Oh. I think I could do that... oh wait what am I talking about, that's ridiculous I could never do that without at least a week of practice.

Yes, I'm going there on Saturday. Wow, those all seem great, but I was thinking something more children-appropriate. I doubt my little siblings will like museums and cathedrals.

Yes. I'll choose Spanish although I'm going to study medicine, just because I'm good at it. xD

Games in general. Like, football, card games, and so forth.

Well, that was years ago... my grades kinda started slipping in college but I still ended up graduating after a few classes I had to retake...

Really? I didn't like him at all... Oh, you haven't heard? His case was a pretty major one here in the US, so I would've thought it would've gotten some international coverage... anyway he's a former assistant (American) football coach at Pennsylvania State University who recently got convicted of doing nasty... things... with young boys over the span of decades. Really, really sick man.

Well, I really wasn't expecting her either, but then again I wasn't expecting him either... See, it isn't just her not showing up that bothers me... she didn't appear in D/P/Pt and I didn't mind at all. It's when she's passed over in favor of him that I start getting annoyed. And honestly, I'd rather see former characters stay in their respective games... back in G/S/C, it definitely ruined the mystique of our character from R/B when BOOM! he showed up with an horribly weak team. I was like, "I don't remember training a team this bad in Blue..."

And regarding B2/W2, I'm on the "wait and see" approach now. I'm definitely not preordering it or getting it on release day. I have a friend who's playing the Japanese version (so she can tell me where in the game you can find Pokemon I might want for my team) and since I know my brother will be getting the game when it comes out I can get feedback from him before I make a decision. Not to mention reading through game walkthroughs first. I do know that the world tournament is a place that I'll most likely avoid like the plague. I hope the rest of it is much improved over B/W because I was so dissatisfied with White that I returned it.

My beef is that (a) Game Freak is playing favorites and being biased against their female characters and (b) they're packing in way too much extraneous stuff that has little to do with the core game (i.e., the minigames, Dream World, etc...) They're making things too complicated and adding too much stuff on - it ends up being a disorganized mess. Whatever happened to keeping things simple? It's kinda the same things with RPGs in general... there's too many online wi-fi modes, and extra battle tournaments that take away from the main story.

As for the story, I'll post it whenever you're able to post your comments on it. No big rush for me. It's a bit odd that your tests would be spread out over that long - our exam weeks in high school and college were exactly that - a week (including Saturday in college). At least it gives you plenty of time to study in the meantime... just don't study so much you lose sleep - as I found out the hard way, losing sleep is never a good thing when it comes to tests.

Indeed they are. Did you suspect something like that could come?

What do you suggest I go see in Paris? I mean, are there any attractions other than the Louvre museum and the Eiffel tower?

Oh. Here, you get to choose 2 subjects, which you can take besides Mathematics, Slovenian and English. I think I'll go with Chemistry/Biology and Spanish.

Yeah. What kind of games are popular among young people in France?
