Hello there. I see people are still playing this amazing game. So I decided to repost my Shiny Gold bugfix and music patches.

What are the patches about? They will add the GSC remixes into Shiny Gold that aren't there yet as well as fix some bugs with town map. I strongly recommend to use these patches to even more ejnoy the game!
Note that you CAN still use your save game after applying the patches. They can be used on both normal and X version.

I showed these patches to Zel when he showed up for a while and he had nothing against them. I hope Zel will show up once again.

THIS IS A SERIOUS QUESTION. I've been playing sg beta 5 and everything was great up till the elite 4. When I beat Carlos the credits roll through and IT STARTS A NEW GAME. it gives me no option to continue at the title screen. I have always been able to save on the emulator (vba) but the in the game where you would normally pick continue, new game, or options, well that doesn't even show up and it says THE 1M SUB-CIRCUT BOARD IS NOT INSTALLED. I don't know if this is the culprit but it's the only abnormality I've seen. I've really wanted to finish this beta especially because I caught a legit shiny ho-oh. So I'm asking you Zel OR ANYBODY WHO KNOWS HOW TO FIX THIS to REPLY BACK and help a guy out. By the way I made an account just to ask for help with this so I really need help.

Very good job with SG, I love it. I just wanted to ask you, will you make any more hacks? Because I have some good ideas which could be used to make a good game. I'd love to be able to make it myself but i rather leave to it somebody who is talented with it. Just reply if you're interested. It might be a masterpiece!

after stumbling onto your first thread shiny gold hack i was blown away by the quality of the game itsself and the gameplay. gold was always a good game but you took a game that many current day gba users were beginning to over look and remade into an amazing hack. My friends and i have gba's only and use any games that will tun in them you hack is an extreme favorite of ours after 2009 we found your second thread and played all the way to the end of beta 5. the game is extrodenary a real acomplishment! afterwords i found the second thread containg everything up to the beta 5. after playing through to fuchia city. i began to look for a newer thread, i was saddened to find that it seems that the shiny gold project is finished. so i decided to ask if you were going to re continue the shiny gold hack later or if you had planned to allow another person to finish it in your stead. I and my friends as well as the hundreds of fans will continue to wait in anticipation of its completion.
