Nah. The second half of my post is the part where I control Kiyoko. I'm completely done with Valorie's post.

Naaaah... It's just a really big muse issue combined with life responsibilities and some crippling health issues. I'm more worried that I'm not being fair by expecting you to wait for me. ; I'll probably just post the first part for you today and worry about the rest later.

I've actually got your part completely done, but am stuck on the second part of that post.

Please notice when I say things in the OOC. I've said a few times that the next wave will be introduced ether when the spaces are filled or on Monday.

    Spoiler:
So we're supposed to harness any of the four elements. All good and stuff, but the unfortunate thing was that Adrian had zero control over the elements -- only their basic parts, and that was chaotic at best. Even so, this chaos factor served him well. Even though his parents had raised him to be a gentleman, he had a well-developed mean streak that he inherited from his father, who was a very wealthy rancher.

He had turned out to be a drunk and an idiot, and tried to raise Adrian to be a backwoods gentleman of sorts, minus the alcohol. His mother tried to raise him to be a straight-up upperclassman, complete with fashion. His mother won most of the battle, but his father wouldn't have any of leaving the house, until his two parents finally got their heads together and started getting along. However, the damage was already done. Adrian had already taken his mother's name, preserving the family line in a sense, and he behaved in public just like the rest of his mother's deceased family did.

He grew up to be very much like his mother -- but with both his father's indomitable will and incredible mean streak. He clashed often with him, and it wasn't until he discovered his power that he really had a strong say in things without his mother backing him up. Their last argument ended up in Adrian flying into a rage and making his dad's chair blow up from under him with such force that the man had actually gotten lifted a bit into the air before crashing into half a million splinters and bits of cushion. Having won that argument, Adrian had stormed off before he did anything really stupid.

The rest was history, and now he ended up here, in this small dilemma. How to make a manifestation of the elements? How to control them? Well, he liked to think of himself during his weaker moments as a bringer of chaos to a situation that needed it. Right now though, he needed to actually do something, not break something.

He stared at the matches, the beaker of water, and the desk. By all rights, he could blow up every one of these items, but that didn't even resemble fire in any way -- or did it? Wait a minute... This was possibly the most brilliant idea Adrian probably thought up of for the whole week.

He took a good look at the beaker, and lifted it up. He tapped it on the desk, and found to his immense delight that it was a very thin plastic of all things. That eliminated most of his problems over glass. Now that the problem of actual danger was eliminated, there was the issue of being able to get some dramatic effect into this whole scene.

He considered simply touching the beaker and letting it rip itself to shreds, but he really didn't want to be a victim of his own prank. So, he decided that since it was not only best if he stayed away because it was a prank, but he should also make it very simple. Simplicity was best for surprise value, after all.

That being decided, he simply walked away from the desk, leaving the thin beaker of water in the center of the desk, having swiped the matches off of it and onto the floor, away from the inevitable explosion. He then positioned himself as close to the entrance as he could without raising any eyebrows.

Then, he turned around, and aimed for the water. The very next instant, he heard a very loud clap of an explosion as the thin plastic beaker was ripped to shreds by the water blasting out in all directions with a sudden, violent force. Seeing the aftermath of the explosion, he was very pleased. Most of the mutilated beaker remained on the desk, the rest not having flown with very much force. The water went in every conceivable direction, anywhere from the floor to the ceiling.

Surveying the resulting damage, Adrian almost failed to suppress a grin. Mission accomplished. He made a discreet exit out of the door that he had positioned himself by. It was best if he wasn't in the middle on an angry mob, instead of a class. And it was also best to leave while the shock of the whole thing was still registering in everyone's minds.

It's accepted. TBH I thought you overcomplicated it with materials (as technically... doesn't really matter with particles) and as long as this: "Can make small, completely solid objects fly in a random direction. This is very difficult to control and hence is never used." is just kind of... accidental mishap/failed explosion, then it's all good.

In hindsight, I'm entirely unsure of what to post. There's not a lot to be said on Valorie's part at this time. I wasn't really expecting your character to get dragged away instantly.

Sorry that this has been long overdue, but I present Issue #2 in Thinking Outside the Box.

This time, we'll be covering Ninetales and the rarely explored properties that can allow it to be a superb wall and at least a decent troll on the battlefield. So, what options can we explore with it? This article takes us fairly in-depth on much of what we can accomplish using our Ninetales.

First off, we need to get to know how tough this thing is. We know it doesn't have an...

Alright, so I'm new to Blogs and all that.

But, I'm hoping to take up a general theme here that I've not seen in other places, and that's of course thinking outside the darn box. Namely, competitive Pokémon.

So, I'll be posting all about the tier that everyone loves to hate: OU. I'll be trying to get something up at least once every two weeks. To get this little ball of insanity rolling, I'll be out with this round's theme... Lapras.

Yep, you heard me right....
