Not really anymore, though it depends on what kind it is. I know that Hairy Cell Leukemia has a rather bad prognosis....but the one I had usually has a good prognosis.

Actually, the Chronic types are more difficult to get rid of, yes, but they progress much slower. So basically someone can live for quite a few years (a decade +) without having to get any treatment at all. When they start showing symptoms, that's when doctors decide that it's time to give them treatment. Not sure about the bone marrow transplant, but I know that ALL and AML require them if it advances too far.

There is what I had, Chronic Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Those are the four main types. There are also other, such as Hairy Cell Leukemia (weird name, I know), Philadelphia Chromosome Leukemia, and so on.

That's exactly why. It was actually PRE B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, which is not a difficult one to get rid of.

I actually did not require one. Mine hadn't gotten that bad yet. It was actually gone after only two rounds of chemotherapy.

Leukemia actually is a cancer of the blood. It's when your bone marrow produces too many mutated/cancerous cells, which in turn decreases the number of healthy red blood cells in one's body. So basically, one doesn't have enough blood in their body when they're diagnosed.

Not as stiff as I was before. I mean, Junior High and above uses my mother tongue for their lessons, so I have to get fluent. P:

Been quite a long time since I've blogged about something, that's namely because all I've been doing is play around with my computer games, as per usual.

But enough of that! Time to discuss my new theme for my profile.

For this one, I've chosen around a little something called the "Dire Wolf" Omnimech, also known as the Daishi. It is a 100-ton Omnimech, capable of tearing people a new one, to put it bluntly.

I've always been a sucker for hulking,...

Welp, four months have passed since my last blog complaining about name changes, & you guys are already back into changing them again...

Guess that means that you all really did miss having name changes available to you after all.

But before you guys say to me, "Don't be such a party pooper, Blade! We're doing this for fun!" let me tell you this: Though you guys might find changing your name fun, other people like me find it confusing as hell, especially if...

Hey guys.

I've managed to get several Pokémon from my past games over to my Y game right now. They're pretty much all event Pokémon, but there are also some keepsakes from Guardian Signs. The ones that I've got transferred are:

- The Gamestop shiny Johto trio, I.E. Raikou, Entei & Suicune.
- The Draco Meteor Jirachi from a wi-fi event over in the summer of 2010.
- The 15th Pokémon anniversary Mew.
- The three Pokémon that I managed to get off of...

Earlier today I was getting garbled up sound from my earbuds trying to watch stuff on YouTube. I've figured that it was just my buds were on their last legs, so I got myself another set. But as soon as I tried them out, I still got garbled up sound.

That could only translate into this: Something must be wrong with the actual headphone jack. I'm guessing that the jack itself is broken now.

So, it looks like my laptop's on it's last legs, not my earbuds.

So,...

Hey guys.

It's been quite some time since I've actually posted a new blog - I've been meaning to post in it some more, but I'm afraid that procrastination has gotten the better of me, until now.

So, for this entry, I've decided to start a breeding project: trying to get a shiny Fennekin via the Masuda Method. I've gotten a male Growlithe from someone from the Netherlands, which if I'm not mistaken, should be able to trigger this method. That, & it'll also have Heat...
